Mississippi Highway 370 (MS 370) is a state highway in northeastern Mississippi. It is split into three distinct sections, with the first running from Ashland at MS 5 to MS 15 at Falkner, the second running from MS 4 in Ripley to MS 30 in Pleasant Ridge, and the third and final section running from MS 9 and MS 30 near Jericho to Kirkville at MS 371.
MS 370 begins in Benton County in Ashland at a large intersection with MS 5. It heads straight through downtown along Ripley Avenue before leaving Ashland and winding its way east through wooded hilly terrain for several miles to cross into Tippah County. The highway now enters farmland for a few miles before entering Falkner, where it comes to an end at an intersection with MS 15 just south of downtown. [2]
MS 370 begins again in Tippah County in the eastern outskirts of Ripley at an intersection with MS 4. It travels southeast through rural hilly areas to pass through Dumas before entering Union County and ending up at Pleasant Ridge, where it comes to an end Aton intersection with MS 30. [3]
MS 370 begins again in Union County just south of Graham at an intersection with MS 30 and MS 9. While the middle and eastern sections of the highway are not connected, there is signage along MS 30 pointing to MS 4 south stating "To MS 370" but signage along the MS 4 concurrency itself indicating that it's part of mainline MS 370. MS 4 and MS 370 head south along Naaman Branyan Memorial Highway through a wooded/brush-lined area. MS 4 breaks off the concurrency leaving MS 370 to continue south as an unsigned highway, though signage along the road indicates that it is maintained by the county as Union County Route 170 (CR 170). The road winds its way through wooded terrain to pass through Jericho.
In Jericho, MS 370 briefly travels southwest along CR 171 before the road turns due east onto a state-maintained road where signage for MS 370 resumes. It briefly crosses into Prentiss County before crossing into Lee County to pass through Bethany. The highway now straddles the county line with Prentiss County for three miles (4.8 km) to enter Baldwyn. Inside the city limits, a diamond interchange with U.S. Route 45 (US 45) is present. MS 370 now enters downtown, curves slightly to the south to fully reenter Lee County, and has a short concurrency with MS 145 (4th Street). Along the concurrency, the two roads travel northeast into Prentiss County.
The highway now leaves Baldwyn along East Clayton Street. At first, the highway is city-maintained and travels southeast, then heads east along the Prentiss-Lee county line again. At East Street, state maintenance resumes. Continuing east, it has an intersection with MS 366, where MS 370 turns southeast and later crosses into Itawamba County. MS 370 now enters Kirkville, where it comes to an end at an intersection with MS 371, near that highway's intersection with the Natchez Trace Parkway. [4]

Mississippi Highway 12 is a state highway in northern Mississippi that runs 198.7 miles (319.8 km) west–east from MS 1 west of Hollandale at the Mississippi River to State Route 18 at the Alabama state line northeast of Columbus. MS 12 traverses three major regions of the state, the Mississippi Delta, the North Central Hills, and the Golden Triangle.
Mississippi Highway 182 designates the old two-lane highway for U.S. Route 82 (US 82) where the current US 82 occupies a new right-of-way. Some of the towns with a segment of MS 182 are Winona, Kilmichael, Eupora, Mayhew, Starkville, and Columbus.
Mississippi Highway 42 is a state highway in southern Mississippi. MS 42 runs in an east/west direction for 116.0 miles (186.7 km), serving seven Mississippi counties: Wayne, Greene, Perry, Forrest, Lamar, Jefferson Davis, and Lawrence. Portions of this highway run parallel to the Longleaf Trace. The length of highway between Interstate 59 and U.S. Highway 11 in Forrest County, just outside Petal is known as the Evelyn Gandy Parkway.
Mississippi Highway 30 is a state highway that runs across the North Central Hills of the Appalachian Mountains in northeast Mississippi. It travels east–west for 91.1 miles (146.6 km) from MS 7 at Oxford, Mississippi to the Natchez Trace Parkway in Mingo near the Alabama state line.
Mississippi Highway 4 runs east–west from an intersection in the community of Fox Island west of Tunica, Mississippi, near the border with Arkansas, to MS 25 in Tishomingo County, Mississippi. It travels a distance of 159.8 miles (257.2 km), serving Tunica, Tate, Marshall, Benton, Tippah, Prentiss, and Tishomingo counties.
Mississippi Highway 2 is a designation for two highways in northern Mississippi. The westernmost segment starts at MS 5 in Hickory Flat, and ends at MS 15 and MS 368 in Blue Mountain. The eastern segment starts at MS 4 near Ripley and it travels northeastwards towards Corinth. The route becomes concurrent with U.S. Route 72 and US 45 in Corinth, and ends at the Tennessee state line. The road continues as Tennessee State Route 22. The route was designated around 1932, from the state line near Mount Pleasant to the state line near Corinth. The section west of Corinth became a part of US 72 by 1935, and the route was extended southwestwards to Hickory Flat by 1958.
Mississippi Highway 145 (MS 145) is the designation for the parts of the old U.S. Route 45 (US 45) roadbed that the state continues to maintain or has designated. Those ten sections travel through Waynesboro, near Boice, through Shubuta, from De Soto to Meridian, through Shuqualak, through Macon, through Aberdeen, through Nettleton, from Shannon to Booneville, and through Corinth.
Mississippi Highway 5 is a state highway in Benton County, Mississippi, United States. It runs 24.3 mi (39.107 km) from MS 178 in Hickory Flat north to U.S. Route 72 to the south of Michigan City. The route runs through the Holly Springs National Forest for much of its length and passes through Ashland. To the south of Ashland, MS 5 has a concurrency with MS 4. The MS 5 designation was first used by 1932 for an unpaved road between Hickory Flat and the Tennessee border in Michigan City. In 1943, the northern terminus was cut back to US 72. MS 5 was completely paved by 1951 and has retained its current alignment since then.
Mississippi Highway 9 in the Appalachian Foothills region of northeastern Mississippi, running north–south from MS 30 east of New Albany to MS 12 in Ackerman. It runs approximately 116 miles (187 km), serving Choctaw, Webster, Calhoun, Pontotoc, and Union counties. MS 9W veers off to the left in a curve just about 2 miles north of Bruce. It goes north north-west until it merges with MS 7 just south of Oxford.
Mississippi Highway 43 is a state highway in Mississippi that generally runs north–south in three segments: the first from US 90 near Bay St. Louis to MS 13 south of Columbia, resuming at MS 13 in southern Jefferson Davis County to end near Mendenhall, and finally starting again at MS 18 near Puckett to end at Attala Road 3122 in northern Attala County. It traverses approximately 235 miles (378 km), serving Hancock, Pearl River, Marion, Jefferson Davis, Lawrence, Simpson, Rankin, Madison, Leake, and Attala counties.
Mississippi Highway 13 is a state highway in Mississippi. It runs from north to south for 160.1 miles (257.7 km), serving the counties of Forrest, Pearl River, Lamar, Marion, Jefferson Davis, Simpson, Rankin, Smith, Scott, and Leake.
Mississippi Highway 32 is a state highway in northern Mississippi it runs from east to west for 152.0 miles (244.6 km), serving the counties of Bolivar, Sunflower, Tallahatchie, Yalobusha, Calhoun, and Chickasaw. The publicly accessible portion of MS 32 is divided into two sections, the first of which begins near Perthshire and runs eastward to the rear entrance of the Mississippi State Penitentiary (MSP). The second section begins at the main entrance of MSP and runs eastward to MS 32's terminus in Okolona. A private portion of MS 32 runs from the main entrance of MSP to the rear entrance of MSP.
Mississippi Highway 21 is a state highway in central Mississippi. It runs from north to south for 80.3 miles (129.2 km) and serves six counties: Scott, Leake, Newton, Neshoba, Kemper, and Noxubee.
Mississippi Highway 178 (MS 178), or simply "Old 78", is a 119.1-mile-long (191.7 km) east-west state highway across the northern portion of the state of Mississippi. It is the former alignment of U.S. Route 78 (US 78), used from the 1940s until the 1990s. With the exception of a break at the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway in Fulton, MS 178 is a complete route from Memphis, Tennessee, to the Alabama state line.
Mississippi Highway 368 is a state highway in northern Mississippi. The route starts at MS 2 and MS 15 in Blue Mountain and travels eastward from the town. The road intersects a few city streets inside the town and county roads outside it. MS 368 ends at its intersection with County Road 700. The route was designated around 1956, connecting MS 2 and MS 15 in Blue Mountain to MS 370 near Dumas. A western extension to MS 5 existed for ten years from 1957 to 1967, and the section east of CO 700 gradually returned to Tippah County for maintenance.
Mississippi Highway 184 is an east–west state highway in the U.S. state of Mississippi. It is a non-continuous highway, composed of segments from the previous path of U.S. Highway 84 (US 84) that have been displaced by new construction.
Mississippi Highway 349 is a 17.1-mile-long (27.5 km) north–south state highway in the North Central Hills region of North Mississippi. It connects MS 30 to the town of Potts Camp ending at MS 178. All of MS 349 travels within Holly Springs National Forest. A loop of MS 349 runs to the east of the highway near Bethlehem is designated Mississippi Highway 347.
Mississippi Highway 354 is a short 2.9-mile-long (4.7 km) east–west state highway in Tippah County, Mississippi. Lying in the northern part of the county, it connects the town of Walnut with the community of Chalybeate.
Mississippi Highway 371 (MS 371) is a 44-mile-long (71 km) state highway in northeastern Mississippi running from MS 6 near Amory to MS 4 near New Site. The highway has been in existence since 1950 but it has followed its current alignment since 1965.
Mississippi Highway 356 is a 16.6-mile-long (26.7 km) east-west state highway in North Mississippi. It connects the communities of Hinkle, Pisgah, and Jacinto with the town of Rienzi.
