Morgans Landing is an unincorporated community in Putnam County, West Virginia, United States. The community is located at the mouth of Bills Creek on the Kanawha River along U.S. Route 35.
The town is home to American Electric Power's John E. Amos Power Plant.
Morgan County is a county located in the U.S. state of West Virginia. As of the 2010 census, the population was 17,541. Its county seat is Berkeley Springs. The county was formed in 1820 from parts of Hampshire and Berkeley Counties and named in honor of General Daniel Morgan, prominent soldier of the American Revolutionary War.
Greene County is a county located in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. As of the 2010 census, the population was 38,686. Its county seat is Waynesburg. Greene County was created on February 9, 1796, from part of Washington County and named for General Nathanael Greene.
Hanging Rock is an unincorporated community in Hampshire County in the U.S. state of West Virginia. Hanging Rock is named for the "Hanging Rock" outcrop that hangs over the Northwestern Turnpike. It should not be confused with the plural "Hanging Rocks" over the South Branch Potomac River north of Romney at Wapocomo. Originally, the community of Hanging Rock sprang up in the Henderson Hollow gap of North River Mountain. While only a few buildings of the old hamlet remain, today's Hanging Rock is situated at the intersection of North River Road and Delray Road where the North River flows under U.S. Route 50 towards the Cacapon.
Sleepy Creek is a 44.0-mile-long (70.8 km) tributary of the Potomac River in the United States, belonging to the Chesapeake Bay's watershed. The stream rises in Frederick County, Virginia, and flows through Morgan County, West Virginia before joining the Potomac near the community of Sleepy Creek.
Hancock is an unincorporated community hamlet in Morgan County in the U.S. state of West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle. It is located off Hancock Road on River Road along the Potomac River north of Berkeley Springs. Originally known as Brosius, its post office's name was changed to Hancock in 1948 to reflect its location on the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad mainline across the river from Hancock, Maryland.
Spohrs Crossroads is an unincorporated community along Martinsburg Road to the west of Sleepy Creek in Morgan County in the U.S. state of West Virginia. The community was originally named Spohrs Cross Roads for the local Spohr family. It sometimes erroneously known as Stohrs Cross Roads or Stohrs Crossroads.
Holton is a small unincorporated community in northeastern Morgan County in the U.S. state of West Virginia. Holton lies on Martinsburg Road at its junction with Cherry Run Road along Cherry Run and the Berkeley County line. Holton had its own post office in operation between 1889 and 1903. Pleasant View Elementary School, one of three elementary schools still operational in Morgan County as of 2020, is located in Holton.
Ridge is an unincorporated community hamlet in Morgan County, West Virginia. It is located along Valley Road at its intersection with Fish Hatchery Road near the Frederick County, Virginia line. Sleepy Creek and Timber Ridge lie to its east with Warm Springs Ridge lying to its west.

Woodrow lies on the eastern flanks of Spring Gap Mountain with Sideling Hill to its east. Woodrow Union Church has served the community since the late 19th century.
