Moth World Championship

The Moth World Championship is an annual international sailing regatta for Moth (dinghy) they are organized by the host club on behalf of the International Moth Class Association and recognized by World Sailing, the sports IOC recognized governing body. The class World Sailing status during 1972 holding its first recognized World Championship in 1973.[ citation needed ]

The Laser Standard or ILCA 7 is a popular one-design class of single-handed sailing dinghy, originally built by Performance Sailcraft Canada. The laser is cat rigged, with a single mainsail and is a simple, light and fast boat to sail. The Laser Standard is the original of the Laser family of dinghies, which also includes the Laser Radial and Laser 4.7, both of which use the same hull, but have smaller rigs.

The 29er is a two-person high performance sailing skiff designed by Julian Bethwaite and first produced in 1998. Derived from the Olympic class 49er class, it is raced in the ISAF Youth Sailing World Championships. The 29er is able to reach high speeds fairly quickly by having a sleek and hydrodynamic hull and will often exceed the wind speed when planing both up and downwind.

The Finn Gold Cup is the premier competition in Finn Class sailboat racing. Organized by the International Sailing Federation, it decides the Finn World Championships and has been held every year since 1956.

The ILCA 7 World Championship, until 2020 the Laser World Championship, has been held every year since 1974, organized by the World Sailing.

The Soling World Championship is an International sailing regatta in the Soling organized by the host club on behalf of the International Soling Association and recognised by World Sailing. The first Soling World Championship were held in Copenhagen in 1969, the year after the selection as Olympic Three-Men Keelboat for the 1972 Summer Olympics. The Soling was an Olympic class from 1972 to 2000.

The Mirror World Championship is an bi-annual international sailing regatta of Mirror (dinghy), organized by the host club on behalf of the International Mirror Class Association and since 1987 it has been recognized by World Sailing, the sports IOC recognized governing body.
