Masvingo, previously named Victoria, is a province in southeastern Zimbabwe. It has a population of 1.485 million as of the 2012 census, ranking fifth out of Zimbabwe's ten provinces. Established by the British South Africa Company, it was one of the five original provinces of Southern Rhodesia. In 1982, two years after Zimbabwean independence, it was renamed Masvingo Province. The province is divided into seven districts, including Masvingo District, which contains the provincial capital Masvingo City.

Beitbridge is a border town in the province of Matabeleland South, Zimbabwe. The name also refers to the border post and bridge spanning the Limpopo River, which forms the political border between South Africa and Zimbabwe. The border on the South African side of the river is also named Beitbridge.
Felixburg is a village in the Masvingo Province of Zimbabwe. It is located about 53 km (33 mi) north of Masvingo on the road that connects Gutu to Chivhu. It was named after Felix Posselt who visited the area in 1888 and later settled at Felixburg.

The Mwenezi River, originally known as the Nuanetsi River, is a major tributary of the Limpopo River. The Mwenezi River starts up in south central Zimbabwe and flows south-east along what is known as the Mwenezi River Valley that bisects the district into two sectors. The river is found in both Zimbabwe and Mozambique. In Zimbabwe it has been known as the Nuanetsi or Nuanetzi River in the past, a name it retains in Mozambique.
Great Zimbabwe University (GZU) is an institution of higher learning in the city of Masvingo, Zimbabwe. It is currently situated on the Masvingo Teachers’ College campus seven kilometres east of Masvingo CBD. Currently the institution has a number of campuses in and around the city, including some in the high density suburb of Mucheke, most notably the school of tourism and hospitality situated on a hill on what used to be a hotel. The Herbert Chitepo law school and the library are among the campuses in the center of town. There are also newly built campuses to the west in the industrial zone of the city, whose buildings stand out along the Bulawayo highway. There is another campus in the mining town of Mashava 40km west of Masvingo. A larger campus is soon to be built near the Great Zimbabwe National Monument, the namesake of the university.
The A4 is a highway, also known as the R1 Highway, which runs between Beitbridge and Harare. From Beitbridge it passes through Rutenga, Ngundu, Masvingo, Mvuma, Chivhu before reaching Harare.
The A6 is a highway in Zimbabwe running from the Beitbridge border with South Africa, through Gwanda, to Bulawayo. It is part of the R9 Route, which links Beitbridge with Victoria Falls.

The R3 highway is a primary road in Zimbabwe that runs from the capital city, Harare, to the Chirundu Border Post with Zambia. It is also known as the A1 highway. It is part of both the Beira–Lobito Highway and the Cape to Cairo Road.
The A9 Road is a national highway in Zimbabwe running from Mutare to Mbalabala. The road begins in Mutare and runs south-west through Nyanyadzi, Birchenough Bridge, Masvingo, Mashava, Zvishavane, Filabusi and ends at Mbalabala where it joins the (A6) Bulawayo-Beit Bridge Highway near the 61.5 km peg. It has a total of just less than 513 kilometres (319 mi), which is about a 6 hours 15 minute drive.
Chirundu–Beitbridge Road Corridor is a Trans-African Highway Network Zimbabwean link between South Africa and Zambia. It is part of the North–South Corridor Project and forms the entire Zimbabwean section of the Cape to Cairo Road.
R7 Highway is a primary, paved, regional road corridor in central Zimbabwe virtue of linking the regional corridors R1 Highways that runs from Harare to Beitbridge via Masvingo, and R2 Highway that runs from Harare to Plumtree via Bulawayo.
A18 Road is a national road running from Gweru to Zvishavane/A9 Highway junction in central Zimbabwe. It begins in Gweru at the roundabout where 7th Street ends. 19°27′34″S29°49′27″E and ends at the intersection with A9/P7 Highway just after Zvishavane town. 20°18′51″S30°03′09″E
The A10 Highway is a primary road that runs from Ngundu in south Masvingo Province to Tanganda through the Mutare-Masvingo Highway in Manicaland Province.
Beitbridge West is a constituency represented in the National Assembly of the Parliament of Zimbabwe, located in Beitbridge District in Matabeleland South Province. It is currently represented since a December 2023 by-election by Thusani Ndou of ZANU–PF.
