Distribution

This marine genus occurs off New South Wales, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria and Western Australia. [3] Some species are endemic to New Zealand. Munditia meridionalis occurs in subantarctic waters off the South Orkney Islands and the South Shetland Islands
