The Nagaland Football Association (NFA) [1] [2] is one of the 36 Indian state football associations that are affiliated with the All India Football Federation. [3] It is the state-level governing body of football in Nagaland, India. The Nagaland football team is also administered by NFA. Nagaland Football Association manages Nagaland Premier League, [4] [5] the state football competition in Nagaland. It also sends state teams for Santosh Trophy and Senior Women's National Football Championship.

The National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy, due to ties with FIFA also known as the FIFA Santosh Trophy, or simply Santosh Trophy, is an inter-state national football competition contested by the state associations and government institutions under the All India Football Federation (AIFF), the sport's governing body in India. Before the launch of the first national club league, the National Football League in 1996, the Santosh Trophy was considered the top domestic tournament in India. Many players who have represented India internationally, played in the Santosh Trophy. The tournament is held every year with eligible teams divided into zones, play in the qualifying round and can progress into the tournament proper.

The COVID-19 pandemic reached the state of Nagaland on 22 May 2020, with its first case confirmed on 25 May 2020. Officially, Nagaland is the last of the northeastern states after Sikkim to report COVID-19 positive cases.

Modern College, located in Piphema, is a college in Nagaland. The college is located 22 kms from state capital Kohima and 18 kms from Chumukedima. The college's campus has a total land area of 102 acres. The college was established in 1997. Since then the college was operating at its Kohima campus until 2023 when it shifted to its new campus at Piphema under Chumukedima district. It offers undergraduate courses in Arts and is affiliated to the Nagaland University.

The Indian football league system is the league structure of football club competitions in India. The highest level of men's club football competition is the Indian Super League. Indian Women's League, founded in 2016, is the highest level of women's football club competition in India.

Delhi Football Club is an Indian professional football club founded in 1994 in Delhi. The club competes in both the I-League and the Delhi Premier League. The club debuted in 2023–24 I-League, the second tier of Indian football, following promotion after winning 2022–23 I-League 2 season.

It also organises Madhya Pradesh Premier League, the top tier competition of the state.
