Lantau Island is the largest island in Hong Kong,located West of Hong Kong Island and the Kowloon Peninsula,and is part of the New Territories. Administratively,most of Lantau Island is part of the Islands District of Hong Kong. A small northeastern portion of the island is located in the Tsuen Wan District.

Sunset Peak or Tai Tung Shan is the third-highest peak in Hong Kong and the second-highest on the island of Lantau. It is situated within the Lantau South Country Park and the Lantau North Country Park and stands at a height of 869 metres (2,851 ft) above the Hong Kong Principal Datum,or around 868 metres (2,848 ft) above mean sea level. The second-highest of the territory and the highest on the island,the Lantau Peak,is located to its west.

Tong Fuk is a village and an area on Lantau Island in Hong Kong. It is a popular place for holiday recreation. Tong Fuk Beach,to the south of the village,is a popular local attraction alongside the other beaches of South Lantau.
Siu Ho Wan is a bay on the north shore of Lantau Island in Hong Kong. The bay has been largely reclaimed for bus depots. The Airport Express,Tung Chung line of the MTR and the North Lantau Highway run across the reclamation of the bay. The Siu Ho Wan MTR depot lies on the reclaimed shore between Ngau Kok Wan and is currently used by Airport Express,Tung Chung line and Disneyland Resort line.
Tung Chung West is the proposed MTR terminus station of the Tung Chung line,west of Tung Chung,Lantau Island,New Territories,Hong Kong,which would follow on from Tung Chung station. When Yat Tung Estate in Tung Chung West was constructed,the MTR Corporation and the Hong Kong SAR Government reserved a site to build the station. It will replace Airport as the westernmost railway station in Hong Kong when it opens in 2029.

Silvermine Bay Ferry Pier or Mui Wo Ferry Pier is a ferry pier located on the waterfront of Silver Mine Bay in Mui Wo Ferry Pier Road,Mui Wo,New Territories,Hong Kong. There are two ferry routes provided in the pier. One is the service between Mui Wo and Central,operated by Sun Ferry. Another one is the "Inter-Island" service among Peng Chau,Lantau Island and Cheung Chau,also operated by the same operator.
