The North Charlotte Street Historic District is an historic, American, tobacco warehouse complex and national historic district that is located in Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. [1]
This district encompasses ten contributing buildings, which were built roughly between 1876 and 1920. Six of the buildings were built circa 1876 by John DeHaven. The remaining buildings are the C.G. Schubert Tobacco Warehouse (c. 1880, c. 1920), the Henry Martin Brick Machine Company (two buildings, 1893 and c. 1897), and the General Cigar Company (c. 1917). All ten structures are brick buildings, two are 4+1⁄2 stories tall, and eight of the ten were used for the processing and storage of cigar leaf tobacco. Some exhibit Colonial Revival-style details. Built c. 1900–02 for one of the area's leading tobacco processors, it is a reminder of tobacco's historic economic importance in northwestern Connecticut. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. It has been converted to residential use.
Columbia Wagon Works, also known as Colonial Wagon Company, is a historic wagon factory complex located at Columbia in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The complex was built between 1889 and 1920, and includes seven contributing buildings. They are rectangular brick factory buildings with heavy timber frame construction. Six of the buildings are arranged in an "H"-shape. The buildings range in height from one to 3 1/2-stories. The wagon company closed in 1926, after which the buildings housed a tobacco warehouse operated by the American Cigarette & Cigar Company and produce warehouses. Between 1994 and 1996, the complex was converted to house 60 apartments.
Samuel N. Mumma Tobacco Warehouse is a historic tobacco warehouse located at East Hempfield Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It was built about 1914, and is a three-story, three bay by ten bay, rectangular brick building. It has a gable roof and sits on a limestone foundation. It was built for the processing and storage of cigar leaf tobacco.
Christian Habeck Farm, also known as the Abraham Brubaker Farm, is a historic farm and national historic district located at East Hempfield Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The district includes 12 contributing buildings. They include the brick farmhouse, a frame Pennsylvania bank barn (1869), spring house, two frame tobacco barns, a brick tenant house, a summer kitchen, a pigsty, a milk house, and a creamery. The farmhouse dates to the mid-to-late-19th century. It is a 2 1/2-story, rectangular brick dwelling, with a full-width front porch.

The complex consist of four rectangular red brick buildings, three to five stories tall. They are the R. H. Brubaker Tobacco Warehouse including the Koenig & Co. warehouse, the Franklin H. Bare Tobacco Warehouse, and the A. B. Hess Cigar Factory. The buildings have been converted to residential use.
Edward McGovern Tobacco Warehouse is a historic tobacco warehouse located at Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It was built about 1880, and is a 2 1/2-story, red brick building. It is six bays by three bays and has a moderate pitched slate covered gable roof with gabled dormers. Additions were made with the building about 1910 and about 1939. The building houses the Lancaster Brewing Company restaurant.
David H. Miller Tobacco Warehouse is a historic tobacco warehouse located at Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1900, and is a three-story, rectangular red brick building on a stone foundation. It is six bays by nine bays and has a slightly pitched gable roof. It housed local tobacco companies until occupied by the Lorillard Tobacco Company after 1938.
Nissly-Stauffer Tobacco Warehouses are two historic tobacco warehouses located at Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The Nissly Warehouse was built about 1912, and is a three-story, rectangular brick building on a limestone foundation. It is seven bays by six bays. The Stauffer Warehouse was built about 1913, and is a five-story, rectangular brick building on a limestone foundation. It is four bays by eight bays.
Slater Cigar Company is two historic cigar factory and tobacco warehouse buildings located at Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The building at 625 Columbia Avenue was built about 1895, and is a three-story, rectangular brick building with a high basement. It is 90 feet wide by 30 feet deep and has a flat roof. The building at 626–628 Columbia Avenue was built in 1905–1906, and is a four-story, rectangular brick building with a high basement. It is 45 feet wide by 140 feet deep. A one-story brick addition was built about 1923.
Eisenlohr–Bayuk Tobacco Historic District is a historic tobacco warehouse complex and national historic district located at Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It includes 10 contributing buildings and 1 contributing structure. The buildings consist of five constructed by the Otto Eisenlohr and Brothers between 1911 and 1921, four constructed by the Bayuk Cigar Co. between 1923 and about 1935, and the Jacob Reist Tobacco Warehouse built in 1923. The contributing structure is an approximately 50 foot tall smokestack built in 1923. All buildings are rectangular brick buildings used for the processing and storage of cigar leaf tobacco.

It includes five contributing buildings, built between about 1865 and 1900. They are the John F. Reed & Co. Cigar Factory, J.R. Bitner Tobacco Warehouse, Lancaster Paint Works, and two warehouses associated with the Teller Brothers, built about 1877 and 1885. All five buildings are brick buildings over stone foundations, 2 1/2- to 4 stories tall, and used for the processing and storage of cigar leaf tobacco.

Continental Stove Works, also known as the Buckwalter Stove Company, is a historic factory complex and national historic district located at Royersford, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. It consists of 16 contributing buildings and one structure. The complex was built in two sections: between 1876 and 1924 and 1898 and 1908, some of which are interconnected. They are generally built of brick with stone foundations. One of the oldest buildings was built in 1876-1877, and is a 5 1/2-story, brick warehouse measuring 50 feet wide and 96 feet long. Another was also built in 1876-1877, and is a two-story brick building measuring 39 feet by 50 feet. The office building was also originally built in 1876-1877, and subsequently expanded to its present three-story size by 1923. The complex housed a number of regionally important producers of stoves during the late-19th and early-20th century. After the regional stove manufacturing industry collapsed during the Great Depression, the complex was occupied by a number of warehouses.

The American Tobacco Company Warehouses Complex is a pair of brick warehouses built around 1900 in Madison, Wisconsin. They are now the two most intact remnants of Madison's tobacco industry, and were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.
