Northern Samar's 1st congressional district is a congressional district in the province of Northern Samar, Philippines. It has been represented in the House of Representatives since 1987. [3] The district covers the province's western half which contains its capital, Catarman, the adjacent municipalities of Allen, Bobon, Lavezares, Lope de Vega, Mondragon, Rosario, San Isidro, San Jose and Victoria, and the San Bernardino Strait island municipalities of Biri, Capul, San Antonio and San Vicente. [4] It is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Paul R. Daza of the National Unity Party (NUP). [5]

Following the split, Calbayog became part of Western Samar, while the remaining municipalities formed Northern Samar, with each new province gaining distinct representation. It is currently represented in the 18th Congress by Stephen James T. Tan of the Nacionalista Party (NP).

Quezon City's 5th congressional district is one of the six congressional districts of the Philippines in Quezon City. Previously included in the 2nd district, it includes the barangays bordering the northern enclave of Caloocan more popularly known as Novaliches. Primarily a residential area, it is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Patrick Michael Vargas of the Lakas–CMD (Lakas).
