The One McKinley Place is a high-end residential condominium located across Pacific Plaza Towers in Bonifacio Global City, Philippines. The 43-storey building was completed in 2004 and rises to 149 metres (489 feet) from the ground to its architectural top. It was the tallest single residential tower in Bonifacio Global City until the completion of The Infinity Fort Bonifacio in 2011.

History

One McKinley Place began groundbreaking and excavation in 1997, with first concrete pouring in 1998. It began to rise in January 1999. It topped off in January 2000. One year later, construction stopped for a while but resumed in 2002 and was completed in 2003. The building opened in 2004. It was the tallest single tower in Taguig from 2004 to 2011, when The Infinity Fort Bonifacio was completed.

Although no exact height details was disclosed, it is found to have a height of 189.8 metres, and has 48 floors above ground level. It was proclaimed by its developer, Nuvoland Philippines Inc., that it will be the tallest structure in Bonifacio Global City by Dec. 2011 surpassing Pacific Plaza Towers after 10 years as a tallest building.

Megaworld Corporation is a real-estate company in the Philippines. It is listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange Composite Index. The company develops large-scale, mixed-use, planned communities incorporating residential, commercial, educational, and leisure components. In addition it provides other services such as project design, construction oversight, and property management. Among its landmark projects is Forbes Town Center, a 6-hectare commercial and residential district in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig, Metro Manila. Another project by Megaworld is the 45-storey Petron Megaplaza office skyscraper, which was the tallest building in the country upon its completion in 1998. Also, last May 31, 2016, Megaworld announced that they will build two more office towers, 10-storey One Republic Plaza, and six-storey Emperador House, in Davao City. The two towers will provide an additional 30,000 sqm of office spaces for lease.
