As of February 2009, the First Nation had a registered population of 1,620 people, of which the on-reserve population was 1,021. The main economic base of the community remains hunting, fishing, trapping and wild rice harvesting.
Niemczewo is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dębnica Kaszubska, within Słupsk County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) south-east of Dębnica Kaszubska, 23 km (14 mi) south-east of Słupsk, and 88 km (55 mi) west of the regional capital Gdańsk.

The San Simon Valley is a broad valley east of the Chiricahua Mountains, in the northeast corner of Cochise County, Arizona and southeastern Graham County, with a small portion near Antelope Pass in Hidalgo County of southwestern New Mexico. German submarine U-2355 was a Type XXIII U-boat of Nazi Germany's Kriegsmarine during World War II. She was ordered on 20 September 1944, and was laid down on 18 October 1944 at Deutsche Werft AG, Hamburg, as yard number 509. She was launched on 13 December 1944 and commissioned under the command of Oberleutnant zur See Hans-Heino Franke on 12 January 1945.
