The Peter Walker House is a historic colonial house located at 1679 Somerset Avenue in Taunton, Massachusetts.
Built in about 1727, this 2+1⁄2-story, Georgian style, wood-framed house is the oldest documented house in the city. It is five bays wide and two bays deep, with a side-gable roof and a large central chimney. Its main entry is framed by pilasters, and topped by a fanlight and gabled pediment. Peter Walker purchased the land, and is said to have built the house soon afterward as a wedding present for his new bride. [2]

The congregation was established by a doctrinal division of the First Parish Church. The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 5, 1984.

The Capt. David Vickery House is an historic house at 33 Plain Street in Taunton, Massachusetts. It is a 1+1⁄2-story brick structure, five bays wide, with a side gambrel roof. It has Federal style framing around its front windows, with granite lintels beneath windows on the side elevation. The house was built c. 1795 by David Vickery, a captain of seafaring ships who traveled as far as the West Indies. It is a rare surviving brick gambrel from the Federal period, and also rare for its connection to the city's maritime trade.
The Walker School is a historic elementary school building on Berkley Street in Taunton, Massachusetts. It is a two-story brick Georgian Revival building, with a hip roof. Its main facade is 11 bays wide, organized in a 4-3-4 pattern. The main entrance is in the center bay, set in a round-arch opening, with the flanking bays having small oval windows; the remaining fenestration is sash windows.

The doors and windows have simple trim, those on the second floor abutting the eave. The house was built circa 1752 for James Leonard, muster master for Bristol County. during the American Revolutionary War, and descendant of the James Leonard who established the Taunton Iron Works in 1652. The house is characteristic of large farmhouses built in the region during the 18th century, and is one of the oldest on Warren Street.
