Pinoyscincus jagori, Jagor's sphenomorphus, is a species of skink, a lizard in the family Scincidae. The species is endemic to the Philippines. There are two recognized subspecies. [2]
The specific name, jagori, is in honor of German naturalist Fedor Jagor. [3]
The preferred natural habitat of P. jagori is forest, at altitudes from sea level to 1,000 m (3,300 ft). [1]
Dorsally, P. jagori is brown, with darker and lighter variegations. [4] Adults have a snout-to-vent length (SVL) of about 9 cm (3.5 in). [2] The tail length exceeds the SVL. [4]
Two subspecies are recognized as being valid, including the nominotypical subspecies. [2]
