Jagor's sphenomorphus (Pinoyscincus jagori) is a species of skink, a lizard in the family Scincidae. The species is endemic to the Philippines. There are two recognized subspecies.^[2]

Etymology

The specific name, jagori, is in honor of German naturalist Fedor Jagor.^[3]

Habitat

The preferred natural habitat of P. jagori is forest, at altitudes from sea level to 1,000 m (3,300 ft).^[1]

Description

Dorsally, P. jagori is brown, with darker and lighter variegations.^[4] Adults have a snout-to-vent length (SVL) of about 9 cm (3.5 in).^[2] The tail length exceeds the SVL.^[4]

Reproduction

P. jagori is oviparous.^[2]

Subspecies

Two subspecies are recognized as being valid, including the nominotypical subspecies.^[2]
