Police Dog Training Center is situated in Kerala Police Academy, in Thrissur city of Kerala state in India. It is one of the dog training centre in South India. It was established in 24 January 2008. The academy trains dogs for Kerala Police. The dog training centre can accommodate 30 dogs at a time and they can be trained in both tracking and sniffing operations. Kattassery Joseph Yesudas is an Indian playback singer and musician who sings Indian classical, devotional and film songs. Yesudas is estimated to have recorded more than 50,000 songs in various Indian languages, including Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Bengali, Odia, Marathi as well as Arabic, English, Latin, and Russian, in a career spanning six decades. Government Law College, Thrissur

Government Law College, Thrissur, also known as Thrissur Law College, is situated in Ayyanthole. It is the fourth Government law college in Kerala and is owned by the Government of Kerala and affiliated to University of Calicut. The college caters to the needs of Thrissur District, Palakkad District and Malappuram District of Kerala. The College was started in the year 1992. Approved by Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi, the college offers three-year undergraduate and five-year integrated programs in the field of law and postgraduate degree also. The first batch of Law Graduates came out in 1993-94 academic year.

C. Sylendra Babu is an Indian Police Service Officer of the 1987 batch belonging to the Tamil Nadu cadre. He is serving as the Director General of Police of Tamil Nadu. He holds a PhD in Criminology from the University of Madras.

State Excise Academy & Research Centre (SEARC) is situated in Poothole in Thrissur city, Kerala, India. The academy trains the entire staff of Kerala Excise Department, the academy gives a centralized training for Kerala State Excise Personals. It also runs basic training and in-service courses for various ranks. Earlier, the Excise staff used to train at the Kerala Police Academy at Ramavarmapuram.

Kollam City Police

The Kollam City Police is the law enforcement agency concerned with the maintenance of law and order in the Indian city of Kollam and the municipalities of Karunagappalli and Paravur(Chathannoor division) along with several towns in Kollam district.
