Profilo Durable Household Appliances, or shortly Profilo, [1] is a Turkish white goods and electronic products manufacturer founded in Istanbul in 1976. [2] It is included in the BSH group. [3]

It was founded by the famous Jewish Turkish businessman Jak Kamhi. Since 1995, it has been operating under BSH. White goods, built-in appliances, vacuum cleaners, air conditioners, water heaters and small household appliances constitute the main product network. [4] [5]

Pitsos A.E. (Πίτσος) was founded in Athens in 1865 and began as a company manufacturing small household appliances and oil heaters. In 1959 it began production of fridges in a new factory; it soon invested heavily on the development and production of a wide range of modern home appliances, including TV sets. Other metal structures, including 3-wheel pickup trucks were also produced. In 1976 it was bought by Bosch-Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH. In 1996 was rebranded to "BSH A.B.E. Ikiakon Syskeyon". Many people at that time thought that Bosch Siemens and Pitsos were called BSP, wrongly.Gaggenau and Neff joined the group in 1998 and 2002 respectively. The company was rebranded to "BSH Home Appliances". It then boasted a leading position in the Greek household appliances market with a market share of approximately 40%. Its revenue reached €308 Million in 2005. Approximately one third of the total revenue came from exports mainly to Europe and the Middle East.

Servis was a British white goods brand. The company was founded in 1929 in Darlaston, an area of the West Midlands renowned for manufacturing. The company started out as a manufacturer, but fell into difficulties in the 1980s. From 1991 to 2008, the brand was owned and manufactured by Italian white goods company Antonio Merloni SpA. Antonio Merloni entered administration in 2008 and ceased manufacturing Servis appliances. BSH is an acronym for Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte.
