Project Runway All Stars (Season 3) is the third season of the Project Runway spin-off series Project Runway All Stars . It features 11 designers from previous seasons of the original series with Alyssa Milano acting as the new host, taking over Carolyn Murphy's role in season 2. [1] Georgina Chapman and Isaac Mizrahi returned as judges for this season. Zanna Roberts Rassi replaced Joanna Coles, mentoring contestants. The season premiered on Lifetime on October 24, 2013. [2]
Guest judges included Abigail Breslin, Kristin Chenoweth, Gabourey Sidibe, Elisabeth Moss, Nick Cannon, Debbie Harry, Bar Refaeli, Gayle King, Nate Berkus, and Michael Urie. Original series judge Nina Garcia and newcomer judge Zac Posen, along with previous Runway winners Christian Siriano (season 4) and Anya Ayoung-Chee (season 9), as well as two All Stars winners Mondo Guerra and Anthony Ryan Auld appeared. Marge Simpson also made a special appearance.
American model and actress Alyssa Milano serves as the host as well as a judge. Designers Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman also judge the 11 returning designers which, for the first time, include winners of the original series as cast members.

Project Runway is an American reality television series that premiered on Bravo on December 1, 2004. The series focuses on fashion design. It was created by Eli Holzman and was hosted by Heidi Klum from 2004 to 2017. It has a varied airing history, with Bravo originating the first five seasons, followed by Lifetime for eleven more. The show has had over 30 international adaptations.
Project Runway Season 5 began filming the first week of June 2008 and premiered July 16, 2008 at 9:00 p.m. It was the final season of Project Runway that aired on Bravo. Subsequent seasons were shown on Lifetime.
Project Runway Season 6, premiered on Lifetime on August 20, 2009, the first season to be aired on that network. The production of this season started in September 2008 and finished the pre-finale filming on October 17, 2008. It is the only season of Project Runway filmed at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles.

Returning as judges are supermodel Karlie Kloss, editor-in-chief of Elle, Nina Garcia, fashion designer Brandon Maxwell, and former editor-in-chief of Teen Vogue Elaine Welteroth. Season 4 winner Christian Siriano returns to mentor the designers and use the "Siriano save" for the first time to bring an eliminated designer back into the competition if he disagrees with the judge’s verdict. A "save" was also used by Tim Gunn beginning in Season 12 and continuing for the remainder of his time with the show.

Elle editor-in-chief Nina Garcia, fashion designer Brandon Maxwell, and former Teen Vogue editor-in-chief and journalist Elaine Welteroth returned as judges. Season 4 winner Christian Siriano returned to mentor the designers and use the "Siriano Save" to bring an eliminated designer back into the competition if he disagrees with the judges' verdict. Karlie Kloss did not return as host and head judge but appeared in the penultimate episode of the season as a guest judge.
The twentieth season of Project Runway was announced to air with a two-part premiere on Bravo on June 15, 2023. To celebrate this milestone season, the show invited fourteen designers from across all nineteen seasons to return for an All-Stars format competition instead of appearing on its separate spin-off show, Project Runway All Stars, which was retired after the bankruptcy of its former production company, The Weinstein Company.
