Muodin huipulle (Finnish, "To the Top of Fashion") is Finland's version of the American reality television series Project Runway . The show aired on Finland's MTV3 from 2009 to 2011. In February 2023, over a decade after its second season, the series returned for a third season with a new judging panel and mentor. [1] [2]

Overview

The show began airing in October 2009 at 20.00. In addition, Muodin huipulle Extra started airing on MTV3's daughter channel Sub on 24 September at 21.00. The first season was hosted by fashion designer and entrepreneur Minna Cheung  [ fi ] [3] in Heidi Klum's role and fashion editor and host Jaakko Selin  [ fi ] filled Tim Gunn's role as fashion mentor. The second season's host was model Nora Vilva  [ fi ] and mentor was designer Janne Renvall. Janne Kataja, who is well known for working on MTV3 and Sub programs, hosted Muodin huipulle Extra. [4]

The first season's winner, Katri Niskanen, received a one-year contract with Spalt PR, one year cooperation with L'Oreal Paris hair and makeup, and a Bernina Sewing Machine worth €6,000. In addition to this, the winner's collection was featured in the February 2010 issue of Finnish fashion magazine Olivia .

X Factor is the Finnish version of X Factor, a show originating from the United Kingdom. It is a television music talent show contested by aspiring pop singers drawn from public auditions. Project Accessory is an American reality television series, a spin-off of the series Project Runway. It began airing on Lifetime on October 28, 2011. On the show, 12 contestants were given challenges in which they must create various fashion accessories with restrictions for materials, subject matter, and time. One or more contestants were eliminated each episode after appearing before a judging panel. Brian Burkhardt won the show and the $100,000 prize.

Project Runway All Stars is an American reality television series, and a spin-off of Project Runway, featuring returning designers competing for grand prizes. Angela Lindvall and Carolyn Murphy have each hosted one season before Alyssa Milano became the staple host of the past five seasons. As on Project Runway, the designers are judged by the host, two permanent judges and guest judges throughout the season. The permanent All Stars judges have been designers Georgina Chapman and Isaac Mizrahi. Joanna Coles mentored the designers throughout seasons one and two, Zanna Roberts Rassi replaced her in season three to five and Anne Fulenwider mentored seasons six and seven.

Masked Singer Suomi is a Finnish reality singing competition television series based on the Masked Singer franchise which originated from the South Korean version of the show King of Mask Singer. It premiered on MTV3 on 14 March 2020, and is hosted by Ilkka Uusivuori and the panelists are Janne Kataja, Jenni Kokander and Maria Veitola.

<i>Suurmestari</i> Entertainment program

Suurmestari is a Finnish entertainment program on MTV3 that started on April 12, 2020, based on the British Taskmaster television format. Competitors perform various tasks that they receive from the Grand Master.
