Remember is the second Korean studio album by South Korean boy band Big Bang, released by YG Entertainment on November 5, 2008. [1] Before release, demand for the album made it surpass 200,000 pre-orders. [2] "Sunset Glow", originally by artist Lee Moon-sae, served as the title track for the album. [3] During the 2008 KBS Music Festival, BigBang performed the hit together with Lee Moon-sae. [4]

Contents

"Strong Baby", Seungri's solo track, was released as the second single. The music video was released January 1, 2009. [5] At the 18th Seoul Music Awards a month later, the album received the Best Album Award.

Promotion

Two music videos from the album were released for "Sunset Glow" and "Strong Baby." [1] "Sunset Glow" was promoted with the entire group, while member Seungri performed "Strong Baby" solo. [6] Seungri would later go on to receive the triple crown on Korean music show Inkigayo. [7]

Commercial performance

On the year-end Hanteo albums charts for 2008, Remember was ranked as the 4th best-selling album in South Korea with sales of cover 135,000 copies on the chart. [8] In April 2010, the album along with several of BigBang's other releases re-charted on the Gaon Album Chart, with Remember peaking at number 5 on the weekly chart and number 19 on the monthly issue.

The group became one of the best-selling groups of all-time in Asia and one of the best-selling boy bands in the world. Hot Issue is the second Korean-language extended play (EP) by South Korean boy band Big Bang. It was released under YG Entertainment on November 22, 2007, and spawned the single "Last Farewell".

"Strong Baby" is a song recorded by South Korean boy band Big Bang. Released on January 1, 2009, through YG Entertainment, it served as the second single from the quintet's second studio album Remember (2008). While the previous single "Sunset Glow" was promoted with all members, "Strong Baby" was performed solely by Seungri, formerly the youngest member of the group.

"Sunset Glow" is a song recorded by South Korean singer Lee Moon-sae. It was released on September 15, 1988, as a single for his fifth studio album Standing Under the Shade of a Roadside Tree. The lyrics and music were composed by Lee Young-hoon.

<i>2NE1</i> (2009 EP) 2009 EP by 2NE1

2NE1 is the self-titled debut extended play (EP) by South Korean girl group 2NE1. The album was released by YG Entertainment on July 8, 2009, and contains seven songs composed and produced by South Korean producers Teddy Park and Kush. Three singles were released in support of the record, including the LG Cyon promotional single "Lollipop", "Fire", and "I Don't Care". Tonight is the fourth extended play of South Korean boy band Big Bang. It was their first new material released in South Korea after two-year hiatus as a group. Upon its release, the album and its lead single of the same name became a chart-topper in various South Korean and international music charts. It was released on February 24, 2011, under YG Entertainment. A repackaged edition titled Big Bang Special Edition was released on April 8, 2011, and featured a new track "Love Song" as the lead single.

<i>Mr. Simple</i> Album by Super Junior

Mr. Simple is the fifth studio album by the South Korean boy band Super Junior. It was released on 3 August 2011, by SM Entertainment, distributed by KMP Holdings and digitally release on 2 August. On 19 September 2011, a repackaged edition was released, re-titled A-Cha. It features four new tracks including title track "A-Cha" and "Superman" which was previously released in version B only. This is the group's second album that features ten of the original 13 members and the first being their previous album, Bonamana (2010).

Alive is the fifth Korean extended play by South Korean boy group Big Bang, released through YG Entertainment on February 29, 2012. Musically, it is a dance and electronic record that incorporates elements of hip hop and R&B. BigBang members G-Dragon and T.O.P wrote and produced the lyrics and music for nearly all tracks on the album. Alive spawned three digital singles that were released within the week prior—"Blue", "Fantastic Baby", and "Bad Boy", all three of which peaked within the top three positions on the Gaon Digital Chart.

The Japan Dome Tour was the fourth concert tour in Japan and seventh overall by South Korean band Big Bang. The tour visited six of Japan's major concert domes, making BigBang the first foreign artists to headline their own six-dome tour. The tour was one of the country's highest-grossing concert tours of the year, and grossed over US$70.6 million from sixteen shows, with all of the tickets from the tour being sold out.

0.TO.10 was the tenth concert tour by South Korean boy band Big Bang that was held to celebrate the group's tenth anniversary. The tour visited Japan, South Korea and Hong Kong from July 2016 to January 2017. The shows were live-streamed through theatres in Japan, Tencent QQ in China and Naver's V app. BigBang held 24 concerts in six cities, which attracted more than 1.1 million fans.

Korean singer Seungri began his career as the main dancer and vocalist of the Korean hip hop group Big Bang. His discography, as a solo artist, began in 2008, with the debut single "Strong Baby". He has released one studio album and two extended play, and several other singles/featured singles.

"Tonight" is a song by South Korean boy band BigBang released on February 24, 2011, through YG Entertainment as the only single from the quintet's fourth extended play of the same name after a two-year hiatus. It was also the group's first Korean-language single since "Sunset Glow" in 2008. Written by members G-Dragon and T.O.P, the song peaked at number one on the Gaon Music Chart, and become one of the best-performing singles of 2011 in their home country.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Flower Road</span> 2018 single by Big Bang

"Flower Road" is a song by South Korean boy band Big Bang. It was released digitally on March 13, 2018, by YG Entertainment, as a gift and a final farewell from the group to its fans ahead of a lengthy hiatus, as the band members serve in South Korea's mandatory military service. It would also end up being their last single to feature longtime lead dancer and sub vocalist Seungri before his retirement on March 11, 2019. It was written by G-Dragon and T.O.P and produced by the former along with The Fliptones, who also participated in creating GD X Taeyang's "Good Boy" and Taeyang's "Stay with Me".
