Entomologia Carniolica exhibens insecta Carnioliae indigena et distributa in ordines, genera, species, varietates is a taxonomic work by Giovanni Antonio Scopoli, published in Vienna in 1763. As well as describing hundreds of new species, Entomologia Carniolica contained observations on the species' biology, including the first published account of queen bees mating outside the hive.
Hydrophilus is a genus of beetles in the family Hydrophilidae, the water scavenger beetles. There are 53 species in three subgenera in the genus: Hydrophilus, Dibolocelus, and Temnopterus.
Opsilia is a genus of beetles in the family Cerambycidae. It is listed as a subgenus of Phytoecia by some sources.
Lilioceris is a genus of beetles in the leaf beetle family, Chrysomelidae. The genus was first scientifically described in 1912 by Edmund Reitter. Lilioceris belongs to the subfamily Criocerinae and tribe Criocerini.
Oreina is a genus of broad-shouldered leaf beetles belonging to the family Chrysomelidae, subfamily Chrysomelinae.
Dorcadion aethiops is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Scopoli in 1763, originally under the genus Cerambyx. It is known from the Czech Republic, Albania, Greece, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, North Macedonia, Romania, Austria, Turkey, Serbia, and Ukraine.

It has a wide distribution in Europe, and has been introduced into Australia. It feeds on Echium vulgare, Lappula squarrosa, Anchusa officinalis, Lithospermum officinale, and Cynoglossum officinale.
