Rich Valley Presbyterian Church was organized as Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church in 1836. The organizing pastor was Rev. Alexander McCluer. The first two elders were Matthew Buchanan and John Buchanan. [ citation needed ]
The first building was made of hewed logs and was located on the approximate site of today’s Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church. In 1848 Franklin Grayson drafted a deed to the land on which the church stands today. The present building was constructed in 1858, along with the manse. The brick used in the building was made from local clay and local craftsmen fired the bricks in a kiln near the site. The current manse resides in the same location of the past home. The new church was named Pleasant Grove, perhaps for all the beautiful oak trees that are still with us today. In 1871, by order of the Presbytery, the name was changed to Rich Valley Presbyterian Church. From this church, both the Locust Cove and Chatham Hill Churches were organized. [ citation needed ]
The building was remodeled around the turn of the century. The present pews were purchased in 1905. The present manse was built around 1924. The Sunday School rooms, the kitchen, and fellowship hall were built in the early 60′s and dedicated on September 2, 1962. [ citation needed ]

First Presbyterian Church and Manse is a historic Presbyterian church located at West Madison Street and Park Avenue in the Mount Vernon-Belvedere neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland, United States. The church is a rectangular brick building with a central tower flanked by protruding octagonal turrets at each corner. At the north end of the church is a two-story building appearing to be a transept and sharing a common roof with the church, but is separated from the auditorium by a bearing wall. The manse is a three-story stone-faced building. The church was begun about 1854 by Nathan G. Starkweather and finished by his assistant Edmund G. Lind around 1873. It is a notable example of Gothic Revival architecture and a landmark in the City of Baltimore.
Franklin Street Presbyterian Church and Parsonage is a historic Presbyterian church located at 100 West Franklin Street at Cathedral Street, northwest corner in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. The church is a rectangular Tudor Gothic building dedicated in 1847, with an addition in 1865. The front features two 60 foot flanking octagonal towers are also crenelated and have louvered belfry openings and stained glass Gothic-arched windows. The manse / parsonage at the north end has similar matching walls of brick, heavy Tudor-Gothic window hoods, and battlements atop the roof and was built in 1857.

The Galata Monastery is a Romanian Orthodox monastery for nuns, founded at the end of the sixteenth century by Moldavian Voivode Petru Şchiopul, in the west of Iaşi, Romania. The monastery is located on the top of Galata Hill, and can be easily observed from different locations of Iasi. The church, surrounded by walls with loopholes and provided with a bell tower at the entrance, looks like a fortress, often serving as a place of defense and sometimes as a royal residence. Many of the historic homes, churches and public buildings in Roanoke were designed and built under his and his family's direction. He is credited with building 23 of them, and perhaps more. Some of these homes and buildings are currently listed on both the National Register of Historic Places and the Virginia Landmarks Register.

It is also known as St. David's Uniting Church, St Davids Presbyterian Church Precinct and includes the St David's Sunday School/Yasmar School, Ramsay Vault and Ramsay Graveyard. The property is owned by the Uniting Church in Australia. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 19 August 2003.

It was designed by Alberto Dias Soares (church) and James Barnet (manse) and built from 1872 to 1883 by Thomas Priest (stonemason), Thomas Jordan (carpenter), John Kealman (carpenter). The property is owned by Presbyterian Church of NSW Property Trust. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 24 May 2019.
