Robertsburg is an unincorporated community in Putnam County, West Virginia, United States. Robertsburg is located on the east bank of the Kanawha River along West Virginia Route 62, 3 miles (4.8 km) north-northeast of Buffalo. Robertsburg had a post office, which opened on August 6, 1900, and closed on May 10, 1997. [2]

Putnam County is a county located in the U.S. state of West Virginia. As of the 2010 census, the population was 55,486. Its county seat is Winfield. The county was founded in 1848 and is named for Israel Putnam, who was a hero in the French and Indian War and a general in the American Revolutionary War.

The town is situated at the bottomland surrounding the convergence of Bells Creek with Twentymile Creek and, subsequently, Twenty Mile Creek with the Gauley River. Belva is also the location of the convergence of two state highways: West Virginia Route 16 and West Virginia Route 39.
