The SIS Swiss International Schools are a group of 19 private day schools in Switzerland, Germany, Brazil and Italy offering continuous education from kindergarten through to college. As of 2024, more than 5,000 students are enrolled with the SIS. [1]
SIS has been operating schools in Switzerland since 1999, in Germany since 2008, and in Brazil since 2011. It is a joint venture of Kalaidos Education Group (Switzerland) and Klett Group (Germany).

The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), more commonly known as the International Baccalaureate (IB), is a nonprofit foundation headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, and founded in 1968. It offers four educational programmes: the IB Diploma Programme and the IB Career-related Programme for students aged 16 to 19, the IB Middle Years Programme for students aged 12 to 16, and the IB Primary Years Programme for children aged 3 to 12. To teach these programmes, schools must be authorized by the International Baccalaureate.

It was developed in the early-to-mid-1960s in Geneva, Switzerland, by a group of international educators. After a six-year pilot programme that ended in 1975, a bilingual diploma was established.

Stockholm International School (SIS) provides an international education in English to just over 820 students aged 3–18 in the heart of Sweden's capital. Teaching International Baccalaureate Primary Years, Middle Years, and Diploma Programmes, the school year takes place between mid-August to mid-June and has a minimal instructional period of 178 days, divided into two semesters. SIS has two sites: the Primary School is housed on Jannesgatan next to St. Johannes Church in the centre of Stockholm. As of 2021, the head of the school is María (Marisa) Isabel León. The Middle and Upper Schools of SIS are house in Norra Latin on Drottninggatan.
The International School of Zug and Luzern (ISZL) is a private, coeducational, non-profit day school in Switzerland for students aged 3 to 18 in the greater Zurich area. Founded in 1961, the school enrolls about 1,200 students from more than 50 nationalities, aiming to offer an international educational experience through the International Baccalaureate Program (IB). Located in Zug, approximately 34 kilometers from Zurich and 25 kilometers from Lucerne, ISZL currently operates two campuses and also owns a Chalet located in Wengen in the Bernese Alps. Until 2016, the School also had a campus in Lucerne.

Zurich International School (ZIS) is an independent non-profit day school in Switzerland for students aged 3 to 18 in the greater Zurich area. Over 1,300 students from more than 50 countries are enroled in the school. The school has two campuses: a Primary campus in Wädenswil for Early Childhood and Lower School students aged 3 to 11 and a Secondary Campus in Adliswil for Middle School students aged 11 to 14 and Upper School students aged 14 to 18.

Collège Champittet is a Swiss school in the canton de Vaud operated by Nord Anglia Education, a group of 82 schools around the world. The Colégio Suíço-Brasileiro de Curitiba, the Swiss School Curitiba, German: Schweizerschule Curitiba, is a bilingual private school recognized by the Brazilian state of Paraná. It is the only school in Curitiba with German and Portuguese as languages of instruction. The school comprises nursery, kindergarten, primary, secondary and high school. Pupils can obtain German, English and French language diplomas and complete their secondary education with the International Baccalaureate Diploma, which gives them access to many universities and colleges at home and abroad. The school is located in Pinhais, a suburb of Curitiba.
Haut-Lac International Bilingual School is a coeducational international school for ages 3 to 18 years located in Saint-Légier-La Chiésaz, in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland. It was founded in 1993 and originally located in Vevey. About forty-five different nationalities are represented in the student body and the school promotes intercultural awareness and sensitivity. Haut-Lac provides academic instruction in both English and French. Students are encouraged to become bilingual, benefiting from a selection of courses in both languages.
