The Saint Peter's Peacocks basketball team is the basketball team that represents Saint Peter's University in Jersey City, New Jersey. The school's team currently competes in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference and is led by fourth-year head coach Shaheen Holloway.

The Virginia Cavaliers Swimming and Diving teams represent the University of Virginia in all National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Swimming and Diving Events. In 2021, the women's side won the NCAA Championship, a first for any Atlantic Coast Conference team, and finished in the national top 10 for a third consecutive season. The men's side also finished in the national top 10 for the second consecutive season. In 2022, the women won their second consecutive NCAA Championship.

NCAA Division III women's ice hockey is a college ice hockey competition governed by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) as part of the NCAA Division III. Sixty-seven teams competed in NCAA Division III women’s hockey across eight conferences in the 2019–20 season.

The Peacocks, led by ninth year head coach John Dunne, played their home games at the Yanitelli Center and were members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. They finished the season 14–16, 12–8 in MAAC play to finish in a tie for fourth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the MAAC Tournament to Fairfield.

2019–20 Saint Peters Peacocks basketball team American college basketball season

The 2019–20 Saint Peter's Peacocks basketball team represented Saint Peter's University in the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Peacocks, led by 2nd-year head coach Shaheen Holloway, played their home games at Yanitelli Center in Jersey City, New Jersey as members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. They finished the season 18–12 overall, 14–6 in MAAC play to finish in second place. As the #2 seed in the MAAC Tournament, they defeated #7 seed Iona 56–54 in the quarterfinals. However, the semifinals and championship game, and all postseason tournaments, were cancelled amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2020–21 Saint Peter's Peacocks basketball team represented Saint Peter's University in the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Peacocks were led by third-year head coach Shaheen Holloway. Due to renovations at their regular home arena, Yanitelli Center, they played their home games at John J. Moore Athletics Center, on the campus of New Jersey City University, as members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. They finished the season 14–11, 10–8 in MAAC play to finish in a tie for third place. As the No. 3 seed in the MAAC Tournament, they defeated No. 11 seed Rider in the quarterfinals, and then lost to No. 7 seed Fairfield 47–52 in the semifinals.

The 2022 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Tournament was the postseason men's basketball tournament for the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference for the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The tournament was played March 8–12, 2022, at the Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey, for the third year in a row. The tournament winner, the Saint Peter's Peacocks, received the conference's automatic bid to the 2022 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament.

The 2021–22 Saint Peter's Peacocks basketball team represented Saint Peter's University in the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Peacocks, led by fourth-year head coach Shaheen Holloway, played their home games at the Run Baby Run Arena in Jersey City, New Jersey, as members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. They finished the regular season 16–11, 14–6 in MAAC play, which was good for second place. As the No. 2 seed in the MAAC Tournament, they advanced to the championship game, where they defeated Monmouth to win the conference's automatic bid to the 2022 NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2011, receiving a No. 15 seed in the East Region.

2021–22 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference mens basketball season Sports season

The 2021–22 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) men's basketball season began with practices in October 2021, followed by the start of the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season in November. Conference play started in December and will conclude in March 2022. This is the 41st season of MAAC basketball.

Douglas Edert is an American college basketball player for the Saint Peter's Peacocks of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). He is best known for his integral part in the team’s historic underdog run to the Elite Eight in the 2022 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament.
