The Sauber C34 is a Formula One racing car which Sauber used to compete in the 2015 Formula One season. The C34 was driven by Marcus Ericsson and Felipe Nasr.
The car was launched online on 30 January 2015 on the team's website, [3] [4] and it proved to be a vast improvement over the C33. In the opening round of the season, in Australia, the Saubers qualified in eleventh and sixteenth places, with rookie Felipe Nasr ahead of his teammate Marcus Ericsson. They ended, respectively, in fifth and eighth positions. They would score again in the third round, in China, when Nasr finished in eighth place and Ericsson in tenth. Subsequently, the car's competitiveness seemed to decline, mostly due to the financial problems of the team. At the Singapore Grand Prix, Sauber introduced a new aerodynamic package.
The most immediate difference can be found in the shorter nose, quite similar in the shape with the ones of the Williams cars, Red Bulls and McLarens. The car also showed new front and rear wings and a slimmer bodywork; thanks to these upgrades – and the high rate of retirements – Nasr was able to finish in tenth position. In the last six races, Sauber managed to collect 10 points from a sixth and a ninth place – both results achieved by Nasr – ending the season with a tally of 36 points and 8th place in the World Constructors' Championship.
The C34 featuring a new blue and white livery alongside with a new Banco do Brasil sponsorship, resulting to Nasr joining the team. Both Claro and Telcel were dropped following to Esteban Gutiérrez departed from the team. This was the final year for the team sponsored the Chelsea FC.

Felipe Massa is a Brazilian racing driver, currently competing in the Stock Car Pro Series for TMG Racing. Massa competed in Formula One from 2002 to 2017, and was runner-up in the World Drivers' Championship in 2008 with Ferrari; he won 11 Grands Prix across 15 seasons.
Sauber Motorsport AG currently competing in Formula One as Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber and also known simply as Kick Sauber or Sauber, is a Swiss motorsport engineering company. It was founded in 1970 by Peter Sauber, who progressed through hillclimbing and the World Sportscar Championship to reach Formula One in 1993. Sauber operated under their own name from 1993 until 2005 and from 2011 until 2018. They were known as BMW Sauber from 2006 to 2010 and as Alfa Romeo from 2019 to 2023 in partnership deals with BMW and Alfa Romeo, respectively. Sauber returned in 2024 as Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber, and is set to be the Audi works team from 2026 onwards, with the German outfit planning to acquire the Swiss team.
Giedo Gijsbertus Gerrit van der Garde is a Dutch former racing driver, who last competed in the 2023 IMSA SportsCar Championship for TDS Racing. From 2018 to 2021 he competed in the FIA World Endurance Championship for Racing Team Nederland in the LMP2 class. He is best known for driving in Formula 1 for the Caterham F1 team in 2013 and joining Sauber as a reserve driver in 2014.
Kamui Kobayashi is a Japanese racing driver and motorsport executive, currently competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship for Toyota and in Super Formula for KCMG. Kobayashi competed in Formula One from 2009 to 2014. In endurance racing, Kobayashi has won two FIA World Endurance Championship titles, and won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2021, all with Toyota; he is also a two-time winner of the 24 Hours of Daytona in 2019 and 2020 with Wayne Taylor Racing.
Marcus Thorbjörn Ericsson is a Swedish professional racing driver. He competes in the NTT IndyCar Series, driving the No. 28 Honda for Andretti Global and is the 2022 Indianapolis 500 winner. Ericsson previously competed in Formula One between 2014 and 2018.
Luiz Felipe de Oliveira Nasr is a Brazilian racing driver, currently competing in the IMSA SportsCar Championship for Porsche. Nasr competed in Formula One from 2015 to 2016. In endurance racing, Nasr has won three IMSA SportsCar Championship titles, and won the 12 Hours of Sebring in 2019 with AXR; he also won the 24 Hours of Daytona in 2024 with Porsche.
The Sauber C30 is a Formula One racing car developed by Sauber Motorsports for use in the 2011 Formula One season. As with the Sauber C29 the car is powered by a Ferrari engine, but with added capability to house Ferrari's customer KERS system.
Antonio Maria Giovinazzi is an Italian racing driver, currently competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship for Ferrari. Giovinazzi competed in Formula One between 2017 and 2021. In endurance racing, Giovinazzi won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2023 with Ferrari.
The Sauber C33 is a Formula One racing car designed by Sauber to compete in the 2014 Formula One season. It was driven by Esteban Gutiérrez and Adrian Sutil, who joined the team after Nico Hülkenberg returned to Force India. The C33 was designed to use Ferrari's new 1.6-litre V6 turbocharged engine, the 059/3.
The 2015 Australian Grand Prix, formally titled the 2015 Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix, was a Formula One motor race that was held on 15 March 2015 in Melbourne. The race was contested over fifty-eight laps of the Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit and was the first round of the 2015 FIA Formula One World Championship. The 2014 FIA Formula One World Championship was the 68th season of FIA Formula One motor racing. The Sauber C36 is a Formula One racing car designed and constructed by Sauber to compete during the 2017 FIA Formula One World Championship. The car was driven by Marcus Ericsson and Pascal Wehrlein, who joined the team after Felipe Nasr left the team at the end of the 2016 season. Antonio Giovinazzi drove the car in Wehrlein's place after a pre-season injury saw Wehrlein withdraw from the opening two rounds of the season as a precaution. The C36 made its competitive début at the 2017 Australian Grand Prix, and uses a 2016-specification Ferrari engine.
Ruth Buscombe Divey is a British motorsport engineer and presenter for F1 TV. A first class honours graduate of the University of Cambridge Department of Engineering, she began working in Formula One with Scuderia Ferrari at its headquarters in 2012 as a race strategist. Buscombe later moved to Haas F1 Team in November 2015 to become the team's strategy engineer. She left Haas in June 2016 and was employed by Sauber three months later, helping the team finish ahead of rival Manor Racing in the 2016 Constructors' Championship. She joined the F1 TV line-up in mid-2024 from her role as a strategy engineer at the Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber. Buscombe is an ambassador for Dare to be Different.
The 2018 German Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held on 22 July 2018 at the Hockenheimring in Germany. The race was the 11th round of the 2018 Formula One World Championship and marked the 77th running of the German Grand Prix, and the 63rd time the race had been run as a World Championship event since the inaugural season in 1950.
The Sauber C37 is a Formula One racing car designed and constructed by Sauber to compete during the 2018 FIA Formula One World Championship. The car was driven by Marcus Ericsson and reigning Formula 2 champion Charles Leclerc, who replaced Pascal Wehrlein. The C37 made its competitive début at the 2018 Australian Grand Prix and uses a 2018-specification Ferrari engine. This was the last car to be raced under the Sauber name as they were renamed as Alfa Romeo for the 2019 season, although the team's structure has remained unchanged.
