The Sauber C34 is a Formula One racing car which Sauber used to compete in the 2015 Formula One season. The C34 was driven by Marcus Ericsson and Felipe Nasr.
The car was launched online on 30 January 2015 on the team's website, [3] [4] and it proved to be a vast improvement over the C33. In the opening round of the season, in Australia, the Saubers qualified in eleventh and sixteenth places, with rookie Felipe Nasr ahead of his teammate Marcus Ericsson. They ended, respectively, in fifth and eighth positions. They would score again in the third round, in China, when Nasr finished in eighth place and Ericsson in tenth. Subsequently, the car's competitiveness seemed to decline, mostly due to the financial problems of the team. At the Singapore Grand Prix, Sauber introduced a new aerodynamic package.
The most immediate difference can be found in the shorter nose, quite similar in the shape with the ones of the Williams cars, Red Bulls and McLarens. The car also showed new front and rear wings and a slimmer bodywork; thanks to these upgrades – and the high rate of retirements – Nasr was able to finish in tenth position. In the last six races, Sauber managed to collect 10 points from a sixth and a ninth place – both results achieved by Nasr – ending the season with a tally of 36 points and 8th place in the World Constructors' Championship.

Felipe Massa is a Brazilian racing driver. He competed in 15 seasons of Formula One between 2002 and 2017, where he scored 11 Grand Prix victories, 41 podiums and finished as championship runner-up in 2008. He currently competes full-time in the Brazilian Stock Car Pro Series, driving the Chevrolet Cruze for Lubrax Podium with the number 19.
Sauber Motorsport AG is a Swiss motorsport engineering company. It was founded in 1970 by Peter Sauber, who progressed through hillclimbing and the World Sportscar Championship to reach Formula One in 1993. Sauber operated under their own name from 1993 until 2005 and from 2011 until 2018. They were known as BMW Sauber from 2006 to 2010 in a partnership deal with BMW and as Alfa Romeo F1 Team from 2019 to 2023 in a partnership deal with Alfa Romeo. Sauber will return in 2024 and is set to be the Audi factory team from 2026 onwards.
Giedo Gijsbertus Gerrit van der Garde is a Dutch racing driver, currently competing in the 2022 IMSA SportsCar Championship for TDS Racing. From 2018 to 2021 he competed in the FIA World Endurance Championship for Racing Team Nederland in the LMP2 class. He is best known for driving in Formula 1 for the Caterham F1 team in 2013 and joining Sauber as a reserve driver in 2014.
Kamui Kobayashi is a Japanese racing driver who currently competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship for Toyota Gazoo Racing. He previously competed in Formula One, Super Formula, Formula E, the GP2 Series, and the GP2 Asia Series. Kobayashi became champion of the FIA World Endurance Championship alongside co-drivers Mike Conway and José María López in the 2019–20 season and in 2021, where he also won the 2021 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Marcus Thorbjörn Ericsson is a Swedish professional racing driver. He competes in the NTT IndyCar Series, driving the No. 8 Honda for Chip Ganassi Racing and is the 2022 Indianapolis 500 winner. Ericsson previously competed in Formula One between 2014 and 2018.
Luiz Felipe de Oliveira Nasr is a Brazilian racing driver. He is a 2 time IMSA Sportscar champion and won the 2019 12 Hours of Sebring.
The Sauber C30 is a Formula One racing car developed by Sauber Motorsports for use in the 2011 Formula One season. As with the Sauber C29 the car is powered by a Ferrari engine, but with added capability to house Ferrari's customer KERS system.
Pascal Wehrlein is a German and Mauritian racing driver currently competing in Formula E for Porsche. He previously raced in Formula One for the Sauber and Manor teams. Holding dual nationality of Germany and Mauritius, he raced under the German flag in Formula One. He had previously raced in DTM, winning the title with the Mercedes-Benz team HWA AG in 2015. In 2013, Wehrlein became the youngest driver to start a DTM race at the age of 18, in 2014, he became the youngest driver to take pole position and a race win at the age of 19, and the following year, he was the youngest to win the title, at the age of 20.
The Sauber C32 was a Formula One racing car designed and built by the Sauber team for use in the 2013 Formula One season. It was driven by Esteban Gutiérrez in his Formula One debut alongside Nico Hülkenberg, who joined the team after racing for Force India in 2012. The car was launched on 2 February 2013.
The Sauber C33 is a Formula One racing car designed by Sauber to compete in the 2014 Formula One season. It was driven by Esteban Gutiérrez and Adrian Sutil, who joined the team after Nico Hülkenberg returned to Force India. The C33 was designed to use Ferrari's new 1.6-litre V6 turbocharged engine, the 059/3.
The 2015 Australian Grand Prix, formally titled the 2015 Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix, was a Formula One motor race that was held on 15 March 2015 in Melbourne. The race was contested over fifty-eight laps of the Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit and was the first round of the 2015 FIA Formula One World Championship. The race marked the 80th race in the combined history of the Australian Grand Prix – which dates back to the 100 Miles Road Race of 1928 – and the 20th time the event was held at the Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit.

The 2014 FIA Formula One World Championship was the 68th season of FIA Formula One motor racing. It featured the 65th Formula One World Championship, a motor racing championship for Formula One cars, recognised by the sport's governing body, the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), as the highest class of competition for open-wheel racing cars. The season commenced in Australia on 16 March and concluded in Abu Dhabi on 23 November. In the nineteen Grands Prix of the season, a total of eleven teams and twenty-four drivers competed for the World Drivers' and World Constructors' championships. It was the first Formula One season since 1994 to see an accident with ultimately fatal consequences as Jules Bianchi succumbed to the injuries he sustained during the 2014 Japanese Grand Prix. He died on 17 July 2015 after spending nine months in a coma following the accident.

The Sauber C36 is a Formula One racing car designed and constructed by Sauber to compete during the 2017 FIA Formula One World Championship. The car was driven by Marcus Ericsson and Pascal Wehrlein, who joined the team after Felipe Nasr left the team at the end of the 2016 season. Antonio Giovinazzi drove the car in Wehrlein's place after a pre-season injury saw Wehrlein withdraw from the opening two rounds of the season as a precaution. The C36 made its competitive début at the 2017 Australian Grand Prix, and uses a 2016-specification Ferrari engine.
The Sauber C37 is a Formula One racing car designed and constructed by Sauber to compete during the 2018 FIA Formula One World Championship. The car was driven by Marcus Ericsson and reigning Formula 2 champion Charles Leclerc, who replaced Pascal Wehrlein. The C37 made its competitive début at the 2018 Australian Grand Prix and uses a 2018-specification Ferrari engine. This was the last car to be raced under the Sauber name as they were renamed as Alfa Romeo for the 2019 season, although the team's structure has remained unchanged.
