Mike Krack (born 18 March 1972) is a Luxembourgish motorsports engineer. [1] He worked at BMW Sauber F1 as the chief engineer, at Porsche WEC team as head of track engineering, and at BMW M as the Head of Engineering, Operations and Organization for Racing and Testing. [2] He also had stints in Formula Three and DTM.[ citation needed ] In 2022, he became the team principal of Aston Martin Formula One Team. [3]
Krack started his engineering journey at BMW in July 1998 with the role of test engineer. He left the role at the start of 2001 to join Sauber. He rose through the ranks, beginning as a data analysis engineer. He was promoted in December 2003 to become Felipe Massa's race engineer and eventually was given the role of chief engineer when they became BMW Sauber. [4] Here, he worked with a young Sebastian Vettel through practice sessions until his debut in the 2007 United States Grand Prix. [5]
Krack left BMW when they made the decision to focus on 2009 rather than Robert Kubica's title challenge in 2008. He then had stints at Kolles & Heinz Union and Hitech, both in Formula Three. He returned to BMW as chief engineer of the DTM department in October 2010 but left at the end of 2012 to join Porsche. [6] There, he was given the role of Head of Track Engineering for their World Endurance Championship team. He worked closely on the Porsche 919 Hybrid, which would take one victory and four podiums. Krack left in 2014 to re-join BMW again as senior performance engineer. From 2014 to 2022, he went through many roles, including overseeing their Formula E, IMSA, and GT programmes. In 2018, he was given the role of Head of Race & Test Engineering, Operations & Organisation. [8] [9] [10] On 14 January 2022, Krack was announced as team principal of Aston Martin Formula One Team, [11] following the departure of Otmar Szafnauer. [12]
Timo Glock is a German professional racing driver, and BMW Motorsport works driver. He raced in Formula One for the Jordan, Toyota, Virgin Racing and Marussia F1 teams. He finished 10th in the Drivers' Championship in both 2008 and 2009, scoring three podium finishes.

Sauber Motorsport AG is a Swiss motorsport engineering company. It was founded in 1970 by Peter Sauber, who progressed through hillclimbing and the World Sportscar Championship to reach Formula One in 1993. Sauber operated under their own name from 1993 until 2005 and from 2011 until 2018. They were known as BMW Sauber from 2006 to 2010 and as Alfa Romeo from 2019 to 2023 in partnership deals with BMW and Alfa Romeo, respectively. Sauber returned in 2024 as Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber, and is set to be the Audi works team from 2026 onwards, with the German outfit planning to acquire the Swiss team.

Max Welti is a former Swiss racing driver, Sauber's first team manager and thus double winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans as well as two-time sports car world champion with Sauber Mercedes. Five years later, he wins the 24 Hours of Le Mans for a second time with Porsche as the responsible race director. He then returns to Sauber as overall manager of the Sauber Formula One operation. In 2000 Welti becomes CEO of the European silhouette touring car racing series "V8STAR" before becoming team owner of A1 A1 Team Switzerland in 2005. As an international motorsport strategist and consultant, Welti nowadays works for OEMs, promoters and organisers.
Sebastian Vettel is a German racing driver who competed in Formula One from 2007 to 2022 for BMW Sauber, Toro Rosso, Red Bull, Ferrari and Aston Martin. Vettel is one of the most successful drivers in Formula One history and has won four World Drivers' Championship titles, which he won consecutively from 2010 to 2013 with Red Bull. Vettel holds the record for being the youngest World Champion in Formula One, has the fourth-most race victories (53), third-most podium finishes (122), and fourth-most pole positions (57).
Otmar Marin Szafnauer is a Romanian and American engineer. He served as Team Principal of the Alpine F1 Team until the 2023 Belgian Grand Prix.

Daniel Juncadella Pérez-Sala is a Spanish racing driver who currently competes in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters. He is son of Xavier Juncadella and nephew of José María Juncadella, Àlex Soler-Roig and Luis Pérez-Sala, also racecar drivers.
Pascal Wehrlein is a German and Mauritian racing driver currently competing in Formula E for TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team. He previously raced in Formula One for the Sauber and Manor teams. Holding dual nationality of Germany and Mauritius, he raced under the German flag in Formula One. He had previously raced in DTM, winning the title with the Mercedes-Benz team HWA AG in 2015. In 2013, Wehrlein became the youngest driver to start a DTM race at the age of 18, in 2014, he became the youngest driver to take pole position and a race win at the age of 19, and the following year, he was the youngest to win the title, at the age of 20.

Mattia Binotto is a Swiss-Italian motorsport engineer. Formerly the team principal of Scuderia Ferrari in Formula One from 2019 to 2022, he has been the chief operating officer (COO) and chief technical officer (CTO) of Sauber Motorsport since 1 August 2024.
AMR GP, officially AMR GP Limited is a British company that owns and operates the Aston Martin F1 Team, a Formula One racing team based in Silverstone, England. The company was established in August 2018 to buy the Formula One racing assets of the financially stricken Force India Formula One Team. Following its acquisition of the team assets just before the 2018 Belgian Grand Prix, it competed in that race, and for the rest of the 2018 season, as the Racing Point Force India Formula One Team, continuing to use the constructor's title of Force India. For the 2019 season the team was renamed to Racing Point F1 Team and went onwards competing with Racing Point as its constructor's title, until the rebranding of the team into Aston Martin in 2021.

Aston Martin is a British car manufacturer that has participated in Formula One in various forms and is currently represented by a team named as Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team. The company first participated in Formula One during the 1959 season, where they debuted the DBR4 chassis using their own engine, but it failed to score any points.
