Scott Wyatt (born 1969) is an American politician. A Republican,he is a member of the Virginia House of Delegates,representing the 60th district.
Wyatt was born in Richmond,Virginia and served on the Hanover County Board of Supervisors for 4 years,representing the Cold Harbor district. [2] [3]
Wyatt is a member of the neo-Confederate organization known as the Sons of Confederate Veterans. [4]
After incumbent Chris Peace voted to expand Medicaid, [5] [6] local Republican party representatives chose to nominate Wyatt instead after a divisive convention. [7]
In the general election, Wyatt defeated Democrat Kevin Washington with 55.7% of the vote. [8] 17.7% of the votes were write-ins, most likely for Chris Peace. [9]

This is the last time that a Democrat won the lieutenant governorship in Virginia.

Chase, self-described as "Trump in heels" was narrowly defeated in the primary of her reelection campaign for a redrawn 12th District in June 2023 and left office in January 2024.

Daniel Isaac Helmer is an American politician. He is a member of the Democratic Party. In 2018, he lost the Democratic primary for Virginia's 10th congressional district. In 2019, he successfully ran for the Virginia House of Delegates in district 40, defeating Republican incumbent Tim Hugo. The majority of the pre-redistricted 40th district's population and landmass was located in Fairfax County with a small part in Prince William County. Helmer currently represents the 10th district post-redistricting, which is located entirely in Fairfax County.
