The Shenzhen–Shanwei high-speed railway is a high-speed railway currently under construction in Guangdong, China. It is 129 kilometres (80 mi) long and has a design speed of 350 kilometres per hour (220 mph). It is expected to open in 2025. [1]
This railway, combined with the Guangzhou–Shanwei high-speed railway between Shenshan and Shanwei, will provide a faster route between Shanwei and Shenzhen Pingshan than the existing Xiamen–Shenzhen railway. West of Shenzhen Pingshan, it will take a new route into Shenzhen with a new intermediate station, Luohu North, before terminating at Xili railway station.
Construction began on 4 January 2021. [1]

The Beijing–Kowloon railway, also known as the Jingjiu railway is a railway connecting Beijing West railway station in Beijing to Shenzhen railway station in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. It is connected with Hong Kong's East Rail line across the border, which terminates at Admiralty station in its namesake business district.

The Hangzhou–Fuzhou–Shenzhen railway refers to the dual-track, electrified, high-speed rail lines (HSR) in service along the southeastern coast of China, linking the Yangtze River Delta on the East China Sea and Pearl River Delta on the South China Sea. It is one of the eight arterial high-speed rail corridors of the national 4+4 high-speed rail grid. The southeast coast is the only region of high-speed rail construction where no previous conventional railroads existed. Hence, the high-speed rail lines built on the southeast coast will, for the most part, carry both passenger and freight traffic, and will not be passenger-dedicated lines that comprise most of the other HSR corridors in China.

The Pearl River Delta Metropolitan Region Intercity Railway System is a regional higher-speed rail and suburban rail network being gradually constructed in the Pearl River Delta, People's Republic of China. The project's goal is to have every major urban center in the Yuegang'ao Greater Bay Area to be within one-hour travel by rail to Guangzhou. On March 16, 2005, the State Council approved plans for a regional high-speed commuter rail network for the Jingjinji, Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta. According to the plan, by 2020, the network will have a total route mileage of about 600 kilometres (370 mi). In September 2009, the plan was expanded to 1,478 km (918 mi) of routes split up into 23 lines. In the long term vision network length will reach 1,890 km (1,170 mi) by 2030. By then the network will provide basic coverage to the Pearl River Delta region. The Suishen ICR, Guanhui ICR and Guangfozhao ICR accept Alipay, avoiding the need to purchase tickets in advance.
Chongqing–Wanzhou intercity railway is a high speed railway between urban Chongqing and its satellite district of Wanzhou. It is also known at the Yu-Wan Railway, which are abbreviations for Chongqing and Wanzhou. Construction started in December 2012, according to the summarizing and commending meeting of the phase II of "100-day Battle" in Chongqing Liangjiang New Area. It was completed on 29 November 2016 and takes passengers from Chongqing North Railway Station to Wanzhou North railway station in one hour. This railway forms a smaller section of two larger railway projects, the Chongqing–Xi'an high-speed railway and the Zhengzhou–Wanzhou high-speed railway, extending north and northeast from Wanzhou respectively. It was opened on 28 November 2016.
