Sheykh Ahmadlu (Persian : شيخ احمدلو‎, also Romanized as Sheykh Aḩmadlū; also known as Sheykh Aḩmad)^[1] is a village in Barvanan-e Gharbi Rural District, Torkamanchay District, Meyaneh County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 114, in 27 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script, which itself evolved from the Aramaic alphabet.

Barvanan-e Gharbi Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Torkamanchay District, Meyaneh County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 5,679, in 1,262 families. The rural district has 21 villages.

Torkamanchay District is a district (bakhsh) in Meyaneh County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 25,281, in 5,935 families. The District has one city: Torkamanchay. The District has four rural districts (dehestan): Barvanan-e Gharbi Rural District, Barvanan-e Markazi Rural District, Barvanan-e Sharqi Rural District, and Owch Tappeh-ye Gharbi Rural District.
