Siddharth Mahadevan is an Indian film composer who is known for his songs in the film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag in which he sang "Zinda" and the rock version of the title song "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag". [1]

Career

Mahadevan got further acclaim for the song, "Malang", in Dhoom 3 , by music director Pritam. He has also composed music for the Marathi films, Swapna Tujhe ni Majhe and Sugar Salt Ani Prem , with his cousin, Soumil Shringarpure. [2] Additionally, he sang "Nachde Ne Sare" in Baar Baar Dekho .

On 12 October 2019, he performed for the Army officers at Fort William, Kolkata, West Bengal. GOC Eastern Command, Chief of Staff, Eastern Command and other officers and soldiers were present.

Personal life

He is the son of Shankar Mahadevan, a film music composer and playback singer from India.

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language biographical sports drama film directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, written by lyricist Prasoon Joshi and produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures in association with Rajiv Tandon and editor P.S. Bharathi under the ROMP Pictures banner. 2 States is the soundtrack to the 2014 film of the same name directed by Abhishek Varman based on Chetan Bhagat's novel 2 States: The Story of My Marriage. Starring Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, the film produced by Dharma Productions and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film's soundtrack consisted of seven songs composed by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy, who had recurringly composed for Dharma Productions' films, and had lyrics written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Varman wanted the trio to score the film in the first place in order to create a romantic album that "has soul and young energy" and have a longer shelf-life.
