The Sacred Heart Church, Rectory, School and Convent make up a historic Roman Catholic church complex in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The church was built in the 1870s and 1880s to serve the parish first organized as the St. John the Evangelist Parish in 1842. The cornerstone of the church was laid on 4 October 1874. It was dedicated in 1883, and opened for Divine Service on 12 November 1876. The rectory was added in 1885, and the convent and school followed in 1902. The church is a Medieval Gothic structure designed by P. W. Ford. The complex occupies an entire city block, and has been partly taken over for Cambridge city school administration.
Richmond Court is a historic apartment complex at 1209–1217 Beacon Street in Brookline, Massachusetts. Designed by Ralph Adams Cram and built in 1898, this was probably the first apartment house built in the northeastern United States that resembled an English Tudor manor house. This attractive design made the building a fashionable alternative to more utilitarian apartment complex designs.

It was the city's first church to specifically serve its French Canadian immigrant and French American population. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It was demolished in 2008.

Established as a parish in 1835, it is the city's oldest Roman Catholic establishment. Its 1858 Romanesque Revival church and 1872 Second Empire rectory are particularly fine architectural examples of their styles. The complex was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
St. Joseph's Convent and School is a historic convent and school at 517 Moody Street in Lowell, Massachusetts. The school is a three-story brick building built in 1883. Its Italianate styling includes an extended wooden cornice decorated with brackets. The convent, built in 1911, is a modestly ornmanented Colonial Revival three-story brick building. Most of the interiors of the buildings were significantly altered over the course of the 20th century, losing most of their historical integrity; however, a 2001 rehabilitation has reintroduced interior styling in keeping with the age and style of the buildings.

One of the Founders of the Church was Noel Biron. The complex was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Saint Paul's Rectory is a historic church rectory at 130 Aspinwall Avenue in Brookline, Massachusetts. The 2+1⁄2-story Jacobethan stone house was built in 1886 to a design by Peabody and Stearns. It was designed to complement the Gothic Revival style of Saint Paul's Episcopal Church, for whose rector it was built. The exterior is finished in Brighton puddingstone and Nova Scotia freestone; its gable ends have elbows on the parapet walls, and the upper-level windows have diamond panes.

Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church is a Catholic parish of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. The parish's origins date to 1837, when it was first named Holy Cross parish. In 1850 it was renamed Saint John the Evangelist parish, and is the oldest Catholic parish in the city and in Marion County, Indiana. Considered the mother of the Catholic parishes in Indianapolis, it played an important role in development of the Catholic Church in the city. Saint John's Church served as the pro-cathedral of the diocese from 1878 until 1906; its rectory served as the bishop's residence and chancery from 1878 until 1892. In 1900 the church served as the site of first episcopal consecration held in Indianapolis.

The area was developed in the mid-19th century by David Sears and Amos Adams Lawrence as a fashionable residential area, and retains a number of architecturally distinguished buildings, including the Longwood Towers complex at 20 Chapel Street, Christ's Church Longwood, and Church of Our Saviour, Brookline. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on September 13, 1978.
St. Mark's Episcopal Church is a historic church complex at 73 Columbia Road in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. The complex consists of three buildings: a chapel, rectory, and parish hall. All three were built between 1904 and 1909, with the last significant alteration to the exterior of the church occurring in 1916. All three buildings were designed by Edmund O. Sylvester, and present a unified architectural statement of Craftsman styling with some English Gothic detailing. The church complex was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.
