State Park Place is an unincorporated community in Madison and St. Clair counties, Illinois, United States. State Park Place borders Collinsville to the east and Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site to the west. [2]
St. Clair County is the ninth most populous county in Illinois, located in the southwestern part of the state along the Mississippi River bordering Missouri. Located directly east of St. Louis, the county is part of the Metro East region of the Greater St. Louis metropolitan area. As of the 2020 United States census, St. Clair County had a population of 257,400, making it the third most populous county in Illinois outside the Chicago metropolitan area. Belleville is the county’s seat and largest city.

It encompasses five Southern Illinois counties in the St. Louis Metropolitan Statistical Area. The region's most populated city is Belleville, with 45,000 residents. The Metro East is the second largest urban area in Illinois after the Chicago metropolitan area and, as of the 2000 census, the population of the Metro East statistical area was 599,845 residents, a figure that had risen to above 700,000 in 2010. The significant growth in the Metro East is mainly due to people in smaller outlying towns in Illinois moving to the area for better economic/job opportunities.

Lakeport State Park is a public recreation area on the shores of Lake Huron in St. Clair County, Michigan. The state park consists of two units on either side of the community of Lakeport within Burtchville Township. Two campgrounds, beachfront, and camp store are on the north side, and a picnic area and beachfront are on the south side.
Rocky Fork State Park is a public recreation area located in Highland County, Ohio, United States. The state park's central feature is 2,080-acre (840 ha) Rocky Fork Lake and its 31 miles (50 km) of shoreline. The lake was added to the state park system in 1950. The park offers marinas, boat ramps, swimming beaches, picnic areas, hiking trails and nature center. Two significant archaeological sites dating from the Hopewellian period are located in the park, the Rocky Fork Park Group and the Rocky Fork Park Site.

Signal Hill dates back to 1904, during the Saint Louis World Fair, when the Signal Hill Park addition was platted. The tree-lined, island separated, boulevard is the centerpiece of the community filled with large, elegant homes dated to the creation of the community.
