Texas A&M International University, often referred to as TAMIU, is a public, co-educational, state-supported university located in Laredo, Texas. The university has a modern campus on a 300-acre (1.2 km2) site in Laredo, Texas. It is a Member of the Texas A&M University System which is one of the largest systems of higher education in the nation. Located in Laredo, Texas, a crossroads of culture and commerce, TAMIU is a major regional educational institution of choices in the State's fastest-growing demographic area and home to over 7500+ students each academic semester. TAMIU offers over 70 undergraduate, graduate or doctoral degrees in the arts and sciences, business administration, and nursing in the four colleges of the University.

Galena Park ISD Stadium is a stadium situated on Galena Park ISD Sports Complex property in the Cloverleaf CDP of unincorporated Harris County, Texas, United States. The Galena Park Independent School District property is primarily used for American football and soccer, and is the home field of North Shore Senior High School, and Galena Park High School. The SISD Student Activities Complex, known locally as "The SAC" is a High School football stadium in the far east side of El Paso, Texas, U.S.A. It has a capacity of 11,000. It is owned and operated by the Socorro Independent School District for high school football, soccer, swim meets, and track & field events. The stadium houses the land events, and the Aquatic Center houses the water events. It was also used for the SISD high school graduation ceremonies, but have been moved to the Don Haskins Center due to weather problems. It was the home of the El Paso Patriots from 2004 to 2005.

The Ciudad Deportiva's Estadio Nuevo Laredo can seat up to 12,000 fans at a baseball game and the Nuevo Laredo Multidisciplinary Gymnasium can seat 4,000 fans at a basketball game.

The Dustdevil Field is the home stadium to the 2007 champion team Laredo Heat member of the United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League (PDL) and the TAMIU Dustdevils women and men's soccer teams member of the Heartland Conference, NCAA Division II.
The Estadio Nuevo Laredo, is a 12,000 seat baseball stadium located in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico. It is home to the Tecolotes de Nuevo Laredo from the Mexican Baseball League. The stadium was completed in 2007 as part of Phase I of Ciudad Deportiva, a new sports complex that also houses the Nuevo Laredo Multidisciplinary Gymnasium. The stadium was inaugurated on March 20, 2008 in a game in which the Tecolotes defeated 5-0 the Acereros de Monclova. The stadium has been criticized because of its distance from the city, despite public transportation that has routes from strategic points before and after games. Estadio Nuevo Laredo is located at 27°28′49″N 99°35′31″W.
