Dinagat, officially the Municipality of Dinagat, is a 5th class municipality in the province of Dinagat Islands, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 10,621.
Dinagat Islands, officially the Province of Dinagat Islands, is an island province in the Caraga region of the Philippines, located on the south side of Leyte Gulf. The island of Leyte is to its west, across Surigao Strait, and mainland Mindanao is to its south. Its main island, Dinagat, is about 60 kilometres (37 mi) from north to south. San Jose serves as its provincial capital while Basilisa is the most populous town in the province.
Ruben Edera Ecleo Sr. was a Filipino cult leader who founded the Philippine Benevolent Missionaries Association in 1965, and the mayor of the municipality of Dinagat, Surigao del Norte from 1963 up to 1987.

Postigo, Liloy, Salug, Sibuco, Siocon, Sirawai and Tampilisan. It is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Ian Amatong of the Liberal Party (LP).
Surigao del Norte's at-large congressional district is a defunct congressional district that encompassed the entire province of Surigao del Norte in the Philippines. It was represented in the House of Representatives from 1961 to 1972 and in the Regular Batasang Pambansa from 1984 to 1986. The province of Surigao del Norte was created as a result of the partition of Surigao in 1960 and elected its first representative provincewide at-large during the 1961 Philippine House of Representatives elections. The district remained a single-member district until the dissolution of the lower house in 1972. It was later absorbed by the multi-member Region X's at-large district for the national parliament in 1978. In 1984, provincial and city representations were restored and Surigao del Norte elected one member for the regular parliament. The district was abolished following the 1987 reapportionment to establish two districts in the province under a new constitution.

It was created ahead of the 2007 Philippine House of Representatives elections, following the separation of the islands from Surigao del Norte in 2006. It is currently represented in the 18th Congress by Johnny Pimentel of the PDP–Laban.

It has been represented in the House of Representatives since 1987. The district covers the northern and eastern parts of the province including its capital, Tagum, and the municipalities of Asuncion, Kapalong, New Corella, San Isidro and Talaingod. Prior to redistricting in 1998, the district covered much of the Compostela Valley in what is now the province of Davao de Oro. It is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Pantaleon Alvarez of the Partido para sa Demokratikong Reporma (Reporma).

The northern portion covers the city of Cabadbaran and the municipalities of Jabonga, Kitcharao, Magallanes, Remedios T. Romualdez, Santiago and Tubay, while the municipalities of Buenavista, Carmen and Nasipit comprise its western section. It is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Dale Corvera of the Lakas–CMD.
Lanao del Norte's 1st congressional district is a congressional district in the province of Lanao del Norte that has been used in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 1987. The district's boundaries have been redrawn twice, originally consisting of seven municipalities and one city lining the coast of Iligan Bay in 1987, then losing the highly-urbanized city of Iligan to its own separate district in October 2009, and finally with eleven municipalities including its capital, Tubod, since the second reapportionment in November 2009. The district is currently represented in the 18th Congress by Mohamad Khalid Dimaporo of the Lakas–CMD.
Lanao del Norte's 2nd congressional district is a congressional district in the province of Lanao del Norte that has been used in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 1987. The district's boundaries have only been redrawn once, originally consisting of fifteen southern and interior municipalities, three of which bordered Panguil Bay and Moro Gulf, which were reduced to eleven municipalities following a reapportionment in November 2009. The district is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Sittie Aminah Q. Dimaporo of the Lakas–CMD.

The district covers the province's western half which contains its capital, Catarman, the adjacent municipalities of Allen, Bobon, Lavezares, Lope de Vega, Mondragon, Rosario, San Isidro, San Jose and Victoria, and the San Bernardino Strait island municipalities of Biri, Capul, San Antonio and San Vicente. It is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Paul R. Daza of the National Unity Party (NUP).
