Kaylee Rochelle McKeown is an Australian swimmer and triple Olympic gold medalist. She is the world record holder in the long course 50 metre backstroke, 100 metre backstroke and both the long course and short course 200 metre backstroke. She won gold in both the 100 metre and 200 metre backstroke, as well as the 4×100 metre medley relay at the 2020 Summer Olympics staged in Tokyo in 2021. In 2023, she was named as the "Best Female Swimmer of the Year" by World Aquatics, after sweeping gold in all three events of backstroke at all three World Cup legs, held in Berlin, Athens and Budapest in October, 2023.

Joseph Hunter Armstrong is an American swimmer. He is the world record holder in the long course 50 meter backstroke. At the 2022 World Aquatics Championships, he won a silver medal in the 50 meter backstroke, a bronze medal in the 100 meter backstroke, gold medals in the 4×100 meter freestyle relay and 4×100 meter mixed medley relay, and a silver medal in the 4×100 meter medley relay. Analia Pigrée is a French Guianese swimmer who competes internationally representing France. She is the French record holder in the long course and short course 50 metre backstroke and the short course 100 metre backstroke. In the 50 metre backstroke, she won the gold medal at the 2022 European Aquatics Championships, a silver medal at the 2021 European Short Course Championships, and the bronze medal at the 2022 World Aquatics Championships. In the 100 metre backstroke, she won the bronze medal at the 2021 European Short Course Championships.

Roos Vanotterdijk is a Belgian competitive swimmer. She is the Belgian record holder in the long course 50 metre freestyle, 100 metre freestyle, 50 metre backstroke, 100 metre backstroke, and 100 metre butterfly, as well as the short course 50 metre backstroke and 100 metre individual medley. She is a six-time medalist in individual events at the European Junior Swimming Championships and medalist at the European Youth Olympic Festival.
