The Semifinal round airs on May 1 to 5, 2023. For the first four days, the twelve semifinalists are divided into four groups. Each day, a group of three contenders performs a three-way battle performance, followed by a solo performance. The contender garnering the highest average score of the day advances directly to the Grand Finals. Additionally, the judges can vote on a conteder that will be saved from elimination. The four hurado's save shall advance on the Friday round.
For the first time since the third season, there is a homecoming and featurette for the semifinalists due to the eased COVID-19 restrictions after nearly two and a half years under pandemic-induced restrictions. Additionally, the judging panel reverted to five judges for the first time since the pandemic episodes.
