Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) is a state funded college located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Founded in 1887 and formerly known as the Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute, it adopted its present name on 26 January 1997. VJTI is an academically and administratively autonomous institute, but it is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. The institute is financially supported by the Government of Maharashtra.

Earlier, all the courses of this college were taught according to the GTU syllabus and exams were also taken by GTU but since 2013, it received autonomous status along with six other government engineering colleges and started taking exams on their own. Results and certificates are still given by GTU.

Government Technical Institute (Kyaukse) was initially opened on 9, December, 1998 at Myopet Street, Yesu Quarter in Kyaukse. The board of the government of Union of Myanmar upgraded it to the Government Technological College (Kyaukse) on 210, January, 2001 and then it to Technological University (Kyaukse) on 20, January, 2007.
