Technological University (Pathein) is situated at the Apin-ne-se village which is in Pathein District, the Ayeyawady Division, Myanmar. It was opened on 27 December 1999 as Government Technological College (G.T.C) and became Technological University (Pathein) on 20 January 2007. The university is run by Ministry of Education (Myanmar).

Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) (Persian: دانشگاه علم و صنعت ایران, Daneshgah-e 'elm vâ Sân'at-e Iran) is a research institution and university of engineering and science in Iran. The university is home to 15 faculties offering undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in a wide range of engineering-based subjects as well as maths, physics, and department of foreign languages. The Defence Services Technological Academy (DSTA) (Burmese: တပ်မတော် နည်းပညာ တက္ကသိုလ်, pronounced[taʔmədɔ̀nípjɪ̀ɰ̃ɲàtɛʔkəθò]), located in Pyin-Oo-Lwin, Myanmar, is the premier technological university of the Myanmar Armed Forces. One of the most selective universities in the country, the academy offers various Bachelor of Engineering degrees to male cadets only. Upon graduation, most DSTA cadets are commissioned as Engineering Officers with the rank of Lieutenant in one of the three branches of Burmese armed forces--army, navy, and air force. Some qualified cadets may choose (or be chosen) to pursue further education in Yangon Technological University, Mandalay Technological University or abroad. Brigadier General Kyi Khine is the Commandant of Defense Services Technological Academy (DSTA).

Technological University (Myeik) is situated on the side of the Yangon-Myeik road and is about 10 7.87 acres wide, at the village of Kabin, in the township of Myeik, Taninthayi Region, Myanmar. It was formerly opened as Government Technological Institute (GTI) on 27 October 1999 and then it has been promoted to Government Technological College (GTC) in January 2002. Finally, it has been promoted again to university level in January 2007. Technological University (Myeik) has produced human resources annually. Degrees provided by the university are Graduate Degree Program, Under Graduate Degree Program. The library in Technological University (Myeik) has up to date books and CDs for the students.

Technological University (Kyaukse) is a university under the Ministry of Education. It is located at Kyaukse township, Mandalay Region, Myanmar. Government Technical Institute (Kyaukse) was initially opened on 9, December, 1998 at Myopet Street, Yesu Quarter in Kyaukse. The board of the government of Union of Myanmar upgraded it to the Government Technological College (Kyaukse) on 210, January, 2001 and then it to Technological University (Kyaukse) on 20, January, 2007.

The Technological University, Mandalay is located in the northern Mandalay near the Mandalay Hill in Mandalay, Myanmar. From 1955, the school was known as the Government Technical Institute. In August 1999, it was upgraded to a Government Technological College. In 2007, it was upgraded to the level of University. It now offers ten bachelor's degrees in engineering and architecture. The duration of the courses is 6 years. The Technological University offers Graduate Degree. Now, the University has attending 3000 students.

Technological University (Yamethin) (Burmese: နည်းပညာတက္ကသိုလ်( ရမည်းသင်း)) is located at Yamethin, Mandalay Region of Myanmar. It was established as the Government Technical Institute (GTI) under the Department of Technological Promotion and Coordination on 11 November 1999. It became Government Technological College (GTC) on 24 April 2009. On 22 April 2010, it developed the Technological University- Yamethin (TU-YMT) under the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Institute of Aeronautical Engineering (IARE) is a private engineering college in Hyderabad. The college offers post graduate (Masters) and undergraduate (Bachelors) courses in engineering and technology.
