Sagaing Technological University is located in Sagaing, Myanmar. It was initially established as Technical High School on 17 September 1990. On 1 December 1998, it was upgraded to a Government Technical Institute. It became a Government Technological College on 20 January 2007 and a Technological University on 23 February 2012.
The Institute of Technology (Syrian) was founded as an industrial high school on September 17, 1990. On January 20, 2007, it was opened as a government technical college. [1]

It became Government Technological College (GTC) on 24 April 2009. On 22 April 2010, it developed the Technological University- Yamethin (TU-YMT) under the Ministry of Science and Technology.
