Contents

The Hoosiers' debut album, The Trick to Life , was released by RCA Records in the United Kingdom in October 2007. The album peaked at number one on the UK Album Chart and has been certified two times platinum by the British Phonographic Industry. The Trick of Life produced the singles "Worried About Ray", "Goodbye Mr A", "Worst Case Scenario" and "Cops and Robbers". "Worried About Ray" and "Goodbye Mr A" both managing to peak within the top five on the UK Singles Chart at numbers five and four respectively.

<i>The Trick to Life</i> 2007 studio album by the Hoosiers

The Trick to Life is the debut studio album by English indie pop band the Hoosiers. It was released in the United Kingdom on 22 October 2007 by RCA Records. Four singles were released from the album.

"Cops and Robbers" is a single by English pop rock band the Hoosiers. It was their fourth single to be released from their debut album, The Trick to Life. It was first made available to download through the album which was released on 22 October 2007. The single was physically released on 21 April 2008 as confirmed by the band on tour. The song has been noted for its remarkable similarities to "The Lovecats" by the Cure.

Their most successful single to date is "Say What You Want" (1997), which peaked at number three on the UK Singles Chart. The Kills debuted in 2002 with the Black Rooster EP, released on Domino Records. The duo's debut full-length album, Keep on Your Mean Side, was released the following year. Walk the Moon was formed in 2006 in Cincinnati, Ohio as Wicked in the Mix, originally consisting of Nicholas Petricca, Adam Reifsnyder, Sam Cole and Ricky Human, the former two having attended Kenyon College together. The group's first EP, entitled The Anthem, would be released later that same year in March. Wicked in the Mix later self-released their only studio album, WM in June 2007. The band's lineup would begin to go through several different member changes throughout the next three years, leaving Petricca as the only member from the original group.
