The Magnolias is a historic cottage located at 115 Jefferson Street, in New Iberia, Louisiana.

Built in 1852, the house was modified in about 1920. In 1929 the entire house was moved and rotated 90 degrees, so that it faces Jefferson Street rather than Main Street. It is set back from the street and has modern buildings on each side. The building has a pedimented Greek Revival one-bay portico that is both massive and unusual on a four-bay house. [2] [3]

The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 6, 1979. [1]

The Magnolia Mound Plantation House is a French Creole house constructed in 1791 near the Mississippi River in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Many period documents refer to the plantation as Mount Magnolia. The house and several original outbuildings on the grounds of Magnolia Mound Plantation are examples of the vernacular architectural influences of early settlers from France and the West Indies. The complex is owned by the city of Baton Rouge and maintained by its Recreation Commission (BREC). It is located approximately one mile south of downtown.

"Green Leaves", also known as the Koontz House or the Beltzhoover House, is a Greek Revival mansion in Natchez, Mississippi, completed in 1838 by Edward P. Fourniquet, a French lawyer who built other structures in the area. It was purchased by George Washington Koontz, a local banker in 1849 and has been owned by his descendants ever since. The W. L. Halsey Warehouse is a historic warehouse in Huntsville, Alabama. The two-story brick structure was built in 1904 by the W. L. Halsey grocery company. The façade is divided into six bays by locally produced cast iron columns. Originally, the street level presented a fully glass storefront, but all bays but the doorway have been covered with wood panels. Windows on the second floor are one-over-one sashes topped with decorative brick arches; ten similar windows on the side of the building facing Meridian Street have been covered. The cornice has sunburst patterns alternating with triangular brackets. A panel over the center of the cornice reads "W.L. Halsey - 1904".

The Lombardo Building is a historic warehouse in Huntsville, Alabama. The three-story brick structure was built in 1922. The façade is divided into three bays by four piers. The center and right bays each have a double entry door with transom and sidelights, while the left bay contains a group of four one-over-one sash windows topped with a transom. Each of the upper floors has groups of three one-over-one windows. Each bay is topped with three decorative corbels, below a stepped parapet. The center of the parapet is marked with "LOMBARDO" and "1922".

This is one of the few remaining buildings of the area that highlights the pre-Civil War architectural heritage, despite having some alterations.
