The Muppets: An Original Walt Disney Records Soundtrack is a soundtrack album released by Walt Disney Records on November 22, 2011 for the musical comedy film The Muppets . The soundtrack features five original songs, four re-recordings and remasterings of popular Muppet songs ("The Muppet Show Theme", "Rainbow Connection", and "Mah Nà Mah Nà"), two cover versions of existing songs (Cee Lo Green's "Forget You" and Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit"), two standalone songs (Paul Simon's "Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard" and Starship's "We Built This City"), and fifteen dialogue tracks. [3] It also features the song "Man or Muppet", which won the Academy Award for Best Original Song. The soundtrack was also nominated for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media at the 55th Grammy Awards.
Songs not included in the album, but featured in the film include Gary Numan's "Cars", AC/DC's "Back in Black", George Thorogood's "Bad to the Bone", Jeff Moss' "Together Again" (from The Muppets Take Manhattan ) and Bill Medley & Jennifer Warnes' "(I've Had) The Time of My Life".
A Spanish version of the soundtrack was released as Los Muppets: Banda Sonora Original de Walt Disney Records on December 6, 2011. [4] The Spanish version received a nomination for Best Latin Children's Album at the 13th Latin Grammy Awards. [5]

The Muppets are an American ensemble cast of puppet characters known for an absurdist, surrealist, burlesque, and self-referential style of variety-sketch comedy. Created by Jim Henson in 1955, they have become a media franchise encompassing children's films, television, music, and other media associated with the characters. Owned by the Jim Henson Company for nearly five decades, the characters of the Muppets franchise were acquired by the Walt Disney Company in 2004.

Rowlf the Dog is a Muppet character created and originally performed by Jim Henson. "Mah Nà Mah Nà" is a popular song by Italian composer Piero Umiliani. It originally appeared in the Italian film Sweden: Heaven and Hell. It was a minor radio hit in the United States and in Britain, but became better known internationally for its use by The Muppets and on The Benny Hill Show.

The Great Muppet Caper is a 1981 musical heist comedy film directed by Jim Henson and the second theatrical film featuring the Muppets. Ol' Brown Ears Is Back is an album released by The Jim Henson Company through BMG Kidz in 1993. The album consists of 14 songs recorded by American puppeteer Jim Henson as the Muppet character Rowlf the Dog. Although released three years after Henson's death, the tracks were recorded in 1984. It was released in CD and cassette form, with the latter including a poster.

Frozen 2 (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is the soundtrack album to the Disney's 2019 animated film of the same name. It was mainly composed by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, in addition to the end credits covers of three of the songs by Panic! at the Disco, Kacey Musgraves, and Weezer. The album was released on November 15, 2019, on digital, CD and vinyl formats, and it consisted of seven songs along with a remix of "Reindeer(s) Are Better Than People" from the original Frozen. The deluxe edition features a second disc of score tracks by composer Christophe Beck, cut songs, and instrumentals to the seven songs in the film.
