The single has been certified Platinum by the RIAJ for sales in the band's home country of Japan, with over 250,000 copies sold, peaking at number two on the Oricon chart. Its tracks "Guren no Yumiya" and "Jiyū no Tsubasa" are used as the opening themes of the 2013 anime adaptation of Attack on Titan. "Guren no Yumiya" was a hit, peaking at number one on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 and fourth place on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales, and received a digital download song certification of Double Platinum from the RIAJ for sales of 500,000.

Cinema Staff are a Japanese alternative rock band from Gifu Prefecture, formed in 2003. Originally formed as Real when the band members were still in high school, they made their major debut on the label Pony Canyon in June 2012 with the release of their EP Into the Green. Their single "Great Escape" was used as the second ending theme to the anime television series Attack on Titan. Another single, "Kirifuda", was used as the fourth opening theme to the anime television series Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V.

SiM are a Japanese alternative metal band from the Kanagawa Prefecture formed in 2004. The band currently consists of MAH (vocals), SHOW-HATE (guitar), SIN (bass), and GODRi (drums). Their musical style mixes heavy metal, alternative, hip hop, ska, reggae, dub and punk with rebellious lyrics and songs with attitude.

The television edit of the song was published on digital platforms on July 23, 2018, while the full single version was released on October 3, 2018.

Conqueror is the sixth studio album by the Japanese all-female rock band Band-Maid. It was released digitally on December 4, 2019, with physical formats released one week later. It debuted at number nine on the Oricon Albums Chart and debuted at number one on the Oricon weekly Rock Album ranking. The album was preceded by the singles "Glory" and "Bubble", both released in January 2019. The international version from JPU Records includes English lyric translations and Romaji lyric transliterations.

<i>Attack on Titan</i> (season 4) Final season of the anime television series

The fourth and final season of the Attack on Titan anime television series, titled Attack on Titan: The Final Season, was produced by MAPPA, chief directed by Jun Shishido, and directed by Yuichiro Hayashi, replacing Tetsurō Araki and Masashi Koizuka, respectively. Scriptwriter Hiroshi Seko fully took over the series composition from Yasuko Kobayashi, and Tomohiro Kishi replaced Kyōji Asano as character designer due to the series switching production studios. The season covers the "Marley" and "War for Paradis" arcs from the original manga by Hajime Isayama.

"Akeboshi" is a song recorded by Japanese singer LiSA, released on October 18, 2021. The song was featured as the first opening theme song for the anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Mugen Train Arc. It charted at No. 1 on the Oricon Daily Digital Singles Chart with 36,062 downloads in its first day release. The song also peaked at number one on Japan Hot 100 and number 107 on Billboard Global 200.

"Guren no Yumiya" was one of two songs created by the Japanese band Linked Horizon for the A-side track of their single Jiyū e no Shingeki. The full version of the song was released by Pony Canyon on 10 July 2013, and would be most notable for its use as the first intro to the anime Attack on Titan.
