Titan Studios, Inc. was an American video game developer based in Seattle. Formed by Epic Games China in November 2008, it comprised the team of the former Fat Princess developer Darkstar Industries. Titan Studios was disestablished in June 2011 and was succeeded by Carbon Games and Fun Bits.



Titan Studios was formed in Seattle as a subsidiary of Epic Games China on November 11, 2008. [1] The studio's core team comprised the former Darkstar Industries team, which had been working on Fat Princess . [2] The stated intent of the opening was to develop original games using Unreal Engine 3, as well as a massively multiplayer online game. [3] Following the release of Fat Princess, Titan Studios acted in a supporting role for Epic Games China and ceased the production of original games. Titan Studios was disestablished in June 2011. Six core team members—Dawna Baltins, Weng Chen, Matt Endsley, James Green (Titan Studios' founder), Branimir Karadzic, and Ken Klopp—established the independent studio Carbon Games in July. [4] Chris Millar, the team leader for Fat Princess, established Fun Bits to continue working on the franchise with Sony Computer Entertainment. [5]

People Can Fly is a Polish video game developer based in Warsaw. The studio was founded in February 2002 by Adrian Chmielarz, previously the co-founder of Metropolis Software, together with acquaintances Michał Kosieradzki and Andrzej Poznański. The studio's first game was Painkiller (2004). Its success led to a deal with THQ for the game Come Midnight, which allowed the studio to expand. THQ Nordic GmbH is an Austrian video game publisher based in Vienna. Formed in 2011, it is a publishing subsidiary of Embracer Group. Fun Bits Interactive, LLC was an American video game developer based in Seattle. It was founded in 2010 by the core team formerly of Titan Studios. In 2010, three of the team members from Fat Princess of Titan Studios started Atomic Operations, which was then renamed as Fun Bits Interactive. After Titan completed Fat Princess, Fun Bits continued work on the project releasing the Fat Roles DLC, which supported additional classes, private servers and clan support.

Krafton, stylized as KRAFTON and formerly known as Bluehole, is a South Korean company that develops and distributes video games based in Bundang-gu, Seongnam. Founded by Chang Byung-gyu in Seoul in March 2007, the company is known for having developed TERA, PUBG: Battlegrounds and NEW STATE MOBILE, the last two through its subsidiary PUBG Studios. In November 2018, Bluehole was reorganized as a subsidiary under a parent company: Krafton. According to Forbes, Chang has a net worth of $2.9 billion and is one of the seven gaming billionaires in South Korea.

Sumo Group Limited is a British video game holding company based in Sheffield. It was formed in December 2017 as the parent company for Sumo Digital and Atomhawk, followed by its initial public offering on the London Stock Exchange later that month. Sumo Group's other subsidiaries are Pipeworks Studios and Secret Mode, a publisher established in March 2021. After purchasing a minority stake in Sumo Group in November 2019, Tencent wholly acquired the company in January 2022.
