Turkey participated in nine editions of eleven European Youth Summer Olympic Festivals since its establishment in 1991.
As of 2011, Turkish youth athletes have won a total of 39 medals, divided into 11 golds, 9 silvers and 19 bronzes. [1] Turkey hosted 2011 Summer Festival and 2017 Winter Festival.

The European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) is a biennial multi-sport event for youth athletes from the 50 member countries of the association of European Olympic Committees. The festival has a summer edition, held for the first time in Brussels in 1991, and a winter edition, which began two years later in Aosta. It was known as the European Youth Olympic Days from 1991 to 1999.
European Youth Olympic Festival is a multi-sport event held in both summer and winter disciplines every second year. Figure skating is one of the sports in its winter edition. The competition is held in junior category.
Naz Aydemir Akyol is a Turkish volleyball player, widely regarded as one of the best setters in international volleyball. She plays as setter for Fenerbahçe and the Turkey women's national volleyball team. She has won a total of nine Turkish League championships, four with Vakıfbank, three with Eczacıbaşı and two with Fenerbahçe. She has four CEV Champions League championships, winning three with Vakıfbank and one with Fenerbahçe.
