Umranala or Ekalbihari is a small town in Mohkhed tehsil of Chhindwara District of Madhya Pradesh. [1] [2] It has its own railway station.

Geographics

Umranala is located on Nagpur Chhindwara road. Its stands in the Satpura Range. The Umra River flows near the town. [3]

Population

As of the 2011 census, Umranala had a population of 7,777, of which 3,884 were males and 3,893 were females. A total of 1,777 families resided in the town. In 2011 the literacy rate was 84.32%. [4]
