Thrissur is a city and headquarters of the Thrissur district in Kerala, India.It is also known as gods own town, it is famous for pooram festival, one of the most celebrated festival in the world It is the third largest urban agglomeration in Kerala after Kochi and Calicut urban areas and the 20th largest in India. It is usually conducted over a period of 40 to 50 days during the Thrissur Pooram.The exhibition is the largest in Kerala in terms of attendance and floor space.
