West Pesisir Regency (Indonesian: Kabupaten Pesisir Barat) is a new regency in Lampung Province of Indonesia. It was created on 25 October 2012 from the eight western districts of West Lampung Regency. [2] It covers an area of 2,907.23 km2, and had a population of 141,741 at the 2010 Census [3] and 162,697 at the 2020 Census. [4] The administrative centre is the town of Krui .
In 2012 the new Regency comprised eight districts (kecamatan) which until 2012 were part of the West Lampung Regency, but since 2012 three additional districts have been created in the northern half of the new regency out of parts of the existing districts - Krui Selatan (South Krui), Pulau Pisang (Pisang Island) and Way Krui. These are all listed below with their areas and their populations at the 2010 Census [5] and the 2020 Census. [6]

The Lingga Regency is a group of islands in Indonesia, located south of Singapore, along both sides of the equator, off the eastern coast of Riau Province on Sumatra island. They are south of the populated Riau Archipelago, known for the industrial island of Batam and the tourist-frequented island of Bintan, although the Lingga Islands themselves are rarely visited due to the infrequent local transportation. The equator goes through the northern tip of Lingga, the name of the main island in the archipelago.
Pesisir Selatan Regency is a regency (kabupaten) of West Sumatra, Indonesia. It has an area of 6,049.33 km² and a population of 429,246 at the 2010 Census and 504,418 at the 2020 Census. The regency seat is at the town of Painan, in IV Jurai District.

It covers a total area of 4,361.83 km2 and had a population of 369,974 at the 2010 Census and 392,829 at the 2015 Census; the latest official estimate is 413,206. The city of Pagar Alam is an enclave within the regency, but is administratively separate.
Batubara Regency is a regency on North Sumatra's eastern shoreline, with Limapuluh as its seat. It was carved out from the seven most westerly coastal districts of Asahan Regency with effect from 15 June 2007. The new regency covers an area of 904.95 km2, and had a population of 375,885 at the 2010 Census and 410,678 at the 2020 Census, of whom 206,551 were male and 204,127 were female.
Nias Selatan Regency is a regency in North Sumatra province, Indonesia. The regency covers a land area of 2,487.98 square kilometres and according to the 2010 census had a population of 289,708; the 2020 Census showed a population of 360,531. Its administrative centre is the port of Teluk Dalam. Apart from the southern portion of Nias Island, the regency also includes the smaller Batu Islands to the south, lying between Nias and Siberut.

East Manggarai Regency is a regency in East Nusa Tenggara province of Indonesia. Established in 2007, the regency has its seat (capital) in Borong. The population at the 2010 Census was 252,754, and at the 2020 Census was 275,603.
West Lampung Regency is a regency of Lampung Province, Sumatra, Indonesia. It had an area of 4,950.4 km² and a population of 418,560 people at the 2010 Census, which had risen to an estimated 439,076 by January 2014. The regency seat is Liwa. Administratively it was divided into 17 districts, subdivided into 111 administrative villages administered by lurah. However, on 25 October 2012 part of this area has separated from West Lampung regency to form the new West Pesisir Regency. Forest occupies some 57.154% of the total area as of 2011.
South Lampung Regency is a regency of Lampung, Sumatra, Indonesia, a strip of land surrounding the provincial capital of Bandar Lampung on its northern and eastern sides, and bounded to the west by the new Pesawaran Regency and to the south by the Sunda Strait; as such it is a major transit corridor to/from Java island. It has an area of 2,007.01 km2, and a population at the 2010 Census of 909,989; the latest official estimate is 1,011,286. The regency seat is the town of Kalianda.

Pesawaran Regency is a regency (kabupaten) of Lampung Province, Sumatra, Indonesia. It covers an area of 1,173.77 km2, and had a population of 398,848 at the 2010 Census; the latest official estimate was 444,380. The regency seat is the town of Gedong Tataan. This regency was formerly part of South Lampung Regency from which it was separated in 2007.
North Luwu Regency is a regency of South Sulawesi Province of Indonesia. It covers 7,502.58 kim2 and had a population of 287,606 at the 2010 Census and 322,919 at the 2020 Census, comprising 163,168 males and 159,751 females. The principal town lies at Masamba.
Takalar Regency is a regency of South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. It covers an area of 566.51 km2 and had a population of 269,603 at the 2010 Census and 300,853 at the 2020 Census. The entire regency lies within the official metropolitan area of the city of Makassar. The principal towns are at Galesong and Takalar, but the administrative centre is at Pattallassang.
Buru Regency is a regency of Maluku province, Indonesia. When created the regency encompassed the entire island ; but in 2008 the southern 40% of the island was split off to form a separate Buru Selatan Regency. The residual Buru Regency comprises the northern half of the island of Buru and covers an area of 7,595.58 km2. The population at the 2010 Census was 108,445 and at the 2020 Census this had increased to 135,238. The principal town lies at Namlea.
Southeast Maluku Regency is a regency of Maluku, Indonesia. It is coincident with the Kei Islands, except that the city of Tual, although within the Kei Islands geographically and the seat of the Regency's administration, is technically independent of the Regency. The land area of the Regency is 1,031.81 km2, while the sea area administered by the regency was 3,181 km2; it had a population of 96,442 at the 2010 Census; this increased to 127,843 at the 2020 Census. The capital is located in Langgur.
South Buton Regency is a regency located in Southeast Sulawesi. This regency was formed from the southern part of Buton Regency, from which it was separated by Act No.16 of 2014, dated 23 July 2014. It covers an area of 546.58 km2, and the population of the districts now comprising the new regency was 74,974 at the 2010 Census and 95,261 at the 2020 Census. The regency capital is located in Batauga.
