Polk County is a county in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, the population was 44,977. Its county seat is Balsam Lake. The county was created in 1853 and named for United States President James K. Polk.
Wisconsin's 7th congressional district is a congressional district of the United States House of Representatives in northwestern and central Wisconsin; it is the largest congressional district in the state geographically, covering 20 counties, for a total of 18,787 sq mi. The district contains the following counties: Ashland, Barron, Bayfield, Burnett, St. Croix, Chippewa (partial), Clark, Douglas, Florence, Forest, Iron, Jackson (partial), Juneau (partial), Langlade, Lincoln, Marathon, Monroe (partial), Oneida, Polk, Price, Rusk, Sawyer, Taylor, Vilas, Washburn, and Wood (partial).
The 25th Senate district of Wisconsin is one of 33 districts in the Wisconsin Senate. Located in northwest Wisconsin, where Wisconsin meets Lake Superior, the district comprises all of Ashland, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Iron, Polk, Sawyer, and Washburn counties. It contains the cities of Superior, Ashland, Bayfield, Hayward, Spooner, and Washburn. The district also includes the Bad River Indian reservation and the Chequamegon–Nicolet National Forest.

Located in northwest Wisconsin, the district comprises all of Buffalo, Pepin, Pierce, and St. Croix counties, along with most of Trempealeau and parts of western Dunn County. It continas the cities of Hudson, Arcadia, New Richmond, Prescott, Mondovi, Blair, Independence, Buffalo City, Fountain City, and River Falls. It also contains landmarks such as Kinnickinnic State Park, Perrot State Park, Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge, and part of the Saint Croix National Scenic Riverway.

It includes the cities of Muskego, New Berlin, and most of the city of Waukesha, along with the villages of Big Bend, Mukwonago, and Waterford.

The district is represented by Republican Amanda Nedweski, since January 2023. After the 2024 redistricting, Nedweski no longer resides in the new 61st district.

The district is represented by Democrat Tip McGuire, since May 2019.

It includes the village of Ashwaubenon and much of the west side of the city of Green Bay. The district contains Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers. The district is represented by Republican Elijah Behnke, since May 2021. Behnke was drawn out of the district by the 2024 redistricting act, Democrat Ryan Spaude was elected to represent the new district beginning in January 2025.

The district is represented by Republican Scott Johnson, since January 2023.

It includes the cities of Berlin, Green Lake, Markesan, Montello, Princeton, and Ripon. The district also contains Fox River National Wildlife Refuge, Summerton Bog, Ripon College and the historic Little White Schoolhouse in Ripon—the birthplace of the Republican Party. The district is represented by Republican Mark Born, since January 2013. After the 2024 redistricting, Born no longer resides in the new district.

Located in southern Wisconsin, the district comprises most of the west half of Jefferson County and parts of eastern Dane County. It includes the cities of Fort Atkinson, Lake Mills, and Waterloo, and the villages of Cambridge, Deerfield, and Rockdale, along with nearly all of the village of Cottage Grove and part of the village of McFarland. The district also contains Aztalan State Park and the Goose Lake Wildlife Area. The district is represented by Democrat Melissa Ratcliff, since January 2023. Ratcliff did not run for re-election in 2024, and will be succeeded by Democrat Joan Fitzgerald in 2025.

It includes the cities of Bloomer, Cornell, Ladysmith, Park Falls, and Phillips, and the villages of Bruce, Catawba, Conrath, Gilman, Glen Flora, Hawkins, Ingram, Kennan, Lublin, Prentice, Rib Lake, Sheldon, Tony, and Weyerhaeuser. The district also contains Lake Wissota State Park, Brunet Island State Park, and Timms Hill—the highest natural point in the state of Wisconsin. The district is represented by Republican Karen Hurd, since January 2023.

The district is represented by Democrat Katrina Shankland, since January 2013. Shankland did not run for re-election in 2024 and will be succeeded by Democrat Vinnie Miresse in 2025.

Located in western Wisconsin, the district comprises parts of northern La Crosse County and southeast Trempealeau County. The district is represented by Democrat Steve Doyle, since May 2011.

He is a member-elect of the Wisconsin State Assembly, and will represent Wisconsin's 75th Assembly district in the 2025–2026 term. He is also a member of the Burnett County Board of Supervisors, since 2024.
