Wooldridge is a town in Amathole District Municipality in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa.

The village is 16 km east of Peddie. It developed from a settlement of the German Legion. It was named after Colonel J W Wooldridge who was an officer under Baron von Stutterheim. [2]

Wooldridge Park, also known as Wooldridge Square, is an urban park in downtown Austin, Texas. The park consists of a city block containing a natural basin whose sides slope inward to form an amphitheater with a bandstand at its center. Mary Louise Newling Wooldridge is a former Australian politician. She was a Liberal Party member of the Parliament of Victoria from 2006 to 2019. The Wooldridge-Rose House, located in Pewee Valley, Kentucky, was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007. It is a c.1905 Colonial Revival-style house, two stories high of considerable size. Its foundation is limestone block foundation with a roof of tin and shingles, and weatherboard siding.

Wooldridge Monuments United States historic place

The Wooldridge Monuments are a series of historical monuments located in Maplewood Cemetery of Mayfield, Kentucky. They were built for Colonel Henry G. Wooldridge, to commemorate family members and other loved ones of his life, from 1892 until Wooldridge's death on May 30, 1899. Wooldridge is the only one buried at the site. The lot has been called "The Strange Procession Which Never Moves".

The 2013–14 UC Riverside Highlanders men's basketball team represented the University of California, Riverside during the 2013–14 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Highlanders are led by first year head coach Dennis Cutts and played their home games at the Student Recreation Center Arena as members of the Big West Conference. They finished the season 10–21, 5–11 in Big West play to finish in eighth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Big West Conference Tournament to UC Irvine.

2018 Oregon gubernatorial election

The 2018 Oregon gubernatorial election took place on November 6, 2018 to elect the Governor of Oregon who would serve a full four-year term, after the 2016 special election, where Governor Kate Brown was elected to serve the last two years of a four-year term. Incumbent Democratic Governor Kate Brown ran for a full term. The Republican Party nominated Knute Buehler to run against Brown; the Independent Party of Oregon nominated Patrick Starnes. Kate Brown was re-elected as governor in a rematch of the 2012 Oregon Secretary of State Election.
