During the tour, the following musicians joined Slash and the band on stage: [5]
Saul Hudson, known professionally as Slash, is a British-American musician who serves as the lead guitarist of the hard rock band Guns N' Roses, with whom he achieved worldwide success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Slash has received critical acclaim and is considered one of the greatest guitarists ever.
Slash's Snakepit was an American rock supergroup from Los Angeles, California, formed by Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash in 1994. Though often described as a solo or side project, Slash stated that Snakepit was a band with equal contributions by all members. The first lineup of the band consisted of Slash, two of his Guns N' Roses bandmates—drummer Matt Sorum and guitarist Gilby Clarke—as well as Alice in Chains bassist Mike Inez and former Jellyfish guitarist Eric Dover on lead vocals.
The Use Your Illusion Tour was a concert tour by American rock band Guns N' Roses which ran from January 20, 1991, to July 17, 1993. It was not only the band's longest tour, but one of the longest concert tours in rock history, consisting of 194 shows in 27 countries. It was also a source of much infamy for the band, due to riots, late starts, cancellations and outspoken rantings by Axl Rose.
Myles Richard Bass, known professionally as Myles Kennedy, is an American singer, guitarist, and songwriter. He is the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the rock band Alter Bridge and of Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators alongside guitarist Slash. A former guitar instructor from Spokane, Washington, Kennedy has worked as a session musician and songwriter, making both studio and live appearances with several artists, and has been involved with several projects throughout his career.
Todd "Dammit" Kerns is a Canadian rock musician who has worked with several bands, most notably The Age of Electric. He is currently the bass guitarist and backing vocalist for Slash in the band Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators. He's also the lead vocalist for the band Blackbird Angels, which he co-founded with Tracii Guns.
Brent Fitz is a Canadian-American musician and multi-instrumentalist. In his career, he has worked with Slash, Myles Kennedy, Theory of a Deadman, Alice Cooper, Vince Neil, Union, Gene Simmons, The Guess Who, Brad Whitford from Aerosmith, Derek St. Holmes, Ronnie Montrose, Indigenous, Lamya, Streetheart, Harlequin, and Econoline Crush.
Live in Manchester is a double live album by Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash featuring Alter Bridge frontman Myles Kennedy. The album was recorded by Abbey Road Live, during Slash's solo show at the Manchester Academy on July 3, 2010. Copies of the album were limited to 1,200 with 350 being sold at the show itself.
"Blackbird" is a song by American rock band Alter Bridge from their album of the same name, which was released on October 8, 2007, by Universal Republic. At nearly eight minutes long, it was the band's longest song until overtaken by "Fable of the Silent Son" 15 years later. It has received critical acclaim since its release, often cited as the crowning point of both the album and the band's career by critics, fans, and the band members themselves. In March 2011, Guitarist magazine listed the song's guitar solo, which is performed by both Myles Kennedy and Mark Tremonti, as the greatest guitar solo of all time.
Made in Stoke 24/7/11 is the second live album by British-American hard rock guitarist Slash. Featuring American vocalist Myles Kennedy, the album was recorded on Slash's debut solo tour in Stoke-on-Trent, where Slash spent his early years. It was captured at the 1500 capacity Victoria Hall on 24 July 2011 and released by Armoury Records, a division of Eagle Rock Entertainment, on 14 November 2011 as a live album and DVD/Blu-ray, featuring 5.1-channel surround sound. As well as songs from Slash's self-titled debut album, Made in Stoke also includes songs originally performed by the guitarist's previous bands Guns N' Roses, Slash's Snakepit and Velvet Revolver.
Apocalyptic Love is the second solo studio album by guitarist Slash. However, it is also the first studio album billed to Slash feat. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators. The band features vocalist Myles Kennedy, bassist Todd Kerns and drummer Brent Fitz in addition to Slash on guitar. Produced by Eric Valentine, it was released on May 22, 2012.
"You're a Lie" is a song by Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators. It is the lead single from Slash's 2012 album, Apocalyptic Love. The song peaked at #1 on the Canadian Active Rock chart for five weeks straight.
Frank Sidoris is an American guitarist who started his professional career as a member of the rock band The Cab from August 2011 to early 2012. He left the group to join Slash's solo-project band, Slash feat. Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, as their permanent touring rhythm guitarist, in support of their albums Apocalyptic Love (2012), and World on Fire (2014). He became an official group member for the album Living the Dream (2018). He's also a touring guitarist for Wolfgang Van Halen's band Mammoth WVH.
Shane Gaalaas is a Canadian-born drummer, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter best known for his long running affiliation with Japanese rock superstars B'z, whom he joined in 2002, and his extensive work with guitar virtuosos Michael Schenker, Yngwie Malmsteen, Uli Jon Roth, Vinnie Moore, and Jeff Kollman.
World on Fire is the second studio album billed to the American band Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, consisting of Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash and his backup band, released on September 10, 2014; it also acts as Slash's third solo album.
"World on Fire" is a song by American hard rock guitarist Slash, featuring vocalist Myles Kennedy and backing band The Conspirators. Written by Slash and Kennedy, it is the title track of the guitarist's third solo album World on Fire. Released as the album's lead single, "World on Fire" topped the US Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart.
"Bent to Fly" is a song by American hard rock guitarist Slash, featuring vocalist Myles Kennedy and backing band The Conspirators. Written by Slash and Kennedy, it was released as the second single from the guitarist's third solo album, World on Fire. The song was used as the theme song for the 2014 National Rugby League Finals series, and Slash performed the song live at ANZ Stadium as pre-show entertainment for the league's grand final that year.
Live at the Roxy 9.25.14 is a live album and DVD by English–American guitarist Slash, featuring vocalist Myles Kennedy and backing band The Conspirators.
Living the Dream is the fourth solo album by guitarist Slash and the third to feature Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. It was released on September 21, 2018, on Slash's own record label Snakepit Records. The album was produced by Michael Baskette, who also produced the previous record World on Fire.
4 is the fourth studio album by Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, and Slash's fifth solo album overall. It was released on February 11, 2022, as the first album from the new Gibson Records label. The album was produced by country producer Dave Cobb in Nashville. The album was announced on October 20, 2021, with the release of the first track "The River Is Rising" as a single.
